I was told through my insurance I may have to pay a $1000 for my lapband!!! How much typically are the co-pay on this type of surgery

Diet history? I have been on a supervised medical diet through my PCP But it was last year Does that still count to the insurance company

Just got my packet from the hospital! There's is so many things I need to do and fill out! I'm just so overwhelmed and feel like if I make one mistake on the packet I will be denied because I'm barely matching all the criteria they need for the WLS HELP!!!

I don't know but I have my consultation the end of sept I don't know why I have to wait so Long? but there's a lot of medical history info to fill out and setup for psych eval and pre op meeting Depending on insurance company

Well I have a few questions 1. I only have one Comorbidity Which is arthritis of the spine But I'm 5'3 205lbs BMI 36 Will they approve me 2. I have been on a medical managed diet through my PCP but it was 4-5 months ago because it kinda failed 3. I have BCBS of MI how will i know if I will get approved

My consultation is 6 weeks away! But the surgeons office is sending me paper work through the mail. I guess on medical history etc. wonder why it's so far out? Do I have to complete anything during this wait for just the consultation?

I'm just here wanting more info on the lap band I am 205lbs, 5'3, bmi-36 With a bad back actually the X-ray said it was arthritis and mild degenerative changes to the spine! I finally got a referral to a WLS and the set up a consultation with a surgeon They told me my insurance would take care of it But what is next? How long is this process to actually getting the lap band IM SO READY FOR THIS

Thank you for the info I been through a supervise diet plan through my pcp for 8 months My insurance is through bcbs and they told me that they covered it in full so I now have all the medical documents I need!!!! Waiting for the consultation with the surgery Does this sound like I could be getting it?
