Had surgery on 24th Aug this year.. down 51 pounds.. really happy with my result????????????

I am down 38 pounds and I'm 8 weeks post op.. I haven't lost anything in 3 weeks just stayed the same.. I'm deflated and disappointed. I know 38 pounds is a great weight loss but I really thought I would be down more. I have my first visit to hospital tomorrow. Hoping they can shed some light on why the stall so soon after op ????

Hi I'm 3 weeks out and eating pretty much all of your foods listed. I have tried spices and they have worked out ok.. today I cook small amount of fish and topped it with cottage cheese and garlic salt toasted it on the grill. My tummy is also very sensitive these last few weeks.. it's all a leading curve. Just try new things.. good luck????

I was sleeved Monday.. finding very had to get protein.. I made scramble egg lunch time and I had less than a bird would eat and the pain I suffered was quite bad. Dinner time I tried potato and tiny amount of minced beef. I experienced same pain.. I guess it's inflammation. I am going to do protein drinks tomorrow.. ????

I just had band to sleeve revision on Monday.. I'm 4 days post op and although I'm sore which is to be expected I'm doing great.. I'm following everything the doctor and dietitian said.. ????

Had my surgery on Monday.. I feel sore but better than I thought it was going to be.. I'm going home tomorrow.. on 30 ml of ensure every half hour and 60ml of water.. good luck to everyone who is due to have their op ????

Shuttergirl1829, my surgery date is also 9/21...I was finally approved today! That's great!! Won't be long now... my op next Monday.. I'm looking forward to it????

Hi I had my pre op today.. I'm good to go. I'm having my op on the 24th Aug????

I'm just back from my pre op assessment.. it went very well.. I'm not on a liquid diet like I said in a previous post they don't do that here in Ireland. I weighed in at 287 pounds and my Bmi was 54... roll on the 24th so I can begin a new chapter in my life.. well done to everyone on a liquid diet that's hard to do.????

I'm having my pre op assessment today at 1:30pm. I have read so many posts some for this op and some against. I also read some lap band posts too. I have a lap band since 2007 and it never worked. Now after so many years of waiting I'm going to have the sleeve op on the 24th August.. I was so excited until I read the posts about weight gain.. Although I know this op is not a miracle cure I'm going to give it my best. I really believe it's down to you as a person to be strong and stay on plan and make te right choices. I wish everyone who is about to take on this journey the best of luck..
