I'm doing great 2 weeks post op as of yesterday and down 18 pounds since day of surgery. Tired of liquids but only one more week of them! Feeling great like I made the best decision ever

I started in julyish and had my surgery October 6.

I used Dr Long!!!! I love him!!! You are in great hands! He is very thorough and professional and so so nice and encouraging!

I left hospital around 9pm my surgery was around noon. I had trouble with pain but wanted desperately to go home and just go to bed I completely underestimated how much pain j would be in I watched all these videos of people who were like day 1 post op feeling great ran 3 miles lol and I just felt so terrible and defeated. Hello all! I had surgery on Tuesdag. The last few days I'm not going to lie they have been rough! I am just today feeling semi normal and able to sip large quantities of water and protein. I hope tomorrow is even better. I definitely under estimated how much pain I would be in but def don't regret it

Alrighty ya'll got my date - October 6! I'm excited and just trying to make sure I loose my 16lbs before surgery. I start my "pre-op" diet on the 22nd and I've been drinking Premier Protein ready made shakes because I actually enjoy the taste, but lets be honest they are a bit pricey. Like $8 for a pack of 4. No bueno! So, what all kind of protein is everyone buying and have they found a source online that is affordable? I know everyone says their tastes change after surgery i'm probably just going to buy 2 different kinds for now, a flavored one and an unflavored one. But I need advice on what to buy and where to get it. I am thinking about going with the nectar brand but

I just wanna say when I say "harass" I mean I just send friendly reminders lol definitely all sugar here- I work at a bank and have been the victim of people using vinegar too many time lol

Silvia is the worst I finally harassed and found out from Lisa after a week that she just got my info from Silvia and she apologized. If you've been waiting awhile I can promise it's Silvia. Butttt patience is a virtue I have been told

Girl if all else fails email Silvia@nicholsonclinic.com and just ask her when you can expect to be contacted. When I did that I got an email the same day!

I had an initial consult where I met with Dr Long.

She just said that was the first available and it worked perfect for my work schedule

I finally emailed Silvia today and told her I hadn't been contacted could she please look into it because it's been over a week. She responded and said I let her know. Short and sweet Silvia (not) then Lisa emailed me and said she jUST received orders to contact me from Silvia today. So that's frustrating but I'm set for October 6!

Well that's awesome. Not to burst your bubble Silvia told me the same a week and a half ago! Lol I called today so hopefully she returns my call soon! Maybe we will be having surgery about the same time!

I will be using dr long at Nicholson clinic. I am very pleased with him so far. I live in Oklahoma but lived in tx several years ago so I have a good friend who I'm staying with a few weeks after surgery. I am pleased with the office until recently I have been waiting for a call with my surgery date for about 2 weeks. Getting a little impatient but trying to be considerate and use my time wisely but next week better be the week!!! I just want a date!! I have made sure that any appts or paper work needed I completed promptly on purpose so it gets kind of frustrating when now it's slowed down. But it seems like a lot of us are in the same timeline so maybe they're busy with all of you so I can understand that lol

I am using Dr Long I had my consult with him and met him and he was really great. I fortunately have a good friend who lives in TX and is going to take care of me for the 2 weeks post op so I don't know anything about hotel discounts. Where are you traveling from?

Well I was hoping the last week of September except now I don't think it's an option since things are moving slower. It would have worked out well with my work so now I'm hoping the first week or so of October.

I'm glad you had the same problem I was starting to think they had a plot against me lol I pissed Silvia off bad by emailing that other girl but literally Silvia would not answer or return my calls. I literally NEVER spoke to her because she wouldn't answer and finally contacted her through email. Yesterday I wrote her and said hey haven't heard from Lisa can I get her email and she responded with Lisa's email but didn't offer any solutions as to why Lisa hadn't called me yet. It's getting very frustrating I am glad I only had to deal with Silvia for one thing because she is old and crotchety. These people I'm sure are just doing their jobs and don't realize that we are hanging by string to hear something, anything! It was all happening so fast and now that it's slowed down I'm starting to get a little nervous like I won't be able to do the pre op liquid diet. I tried one day this week just to see and i did ok. But the next day I was starving

I couldn't wait in Silvia anymore. I'm gonna be honest I almost had it out with her. She called me one time at the end of the day and left a message I called her back 4 minutes later no answer. I clef all day the next day no answer. Finally I emailed Rachel and asked if she was on vacation and she called and left me a sh*tty message saying she has called me every day and left multiple messages. Lies. I am now waiting on Lisa and things are moving much slower then when I first started the process. I emailed Lisa today and called her and got no response. Silvia told me a week ago Lisa would contact me and she hasn't

I am with nicholson clinic still waiting for a date .... Tick tock tick tock. Hopefully next week will be the week

I'm calling tomorrow too! It's been a week since the lady told me she was ready to schedule me. I don't want to pester them but I'm on pins and needles
