What were your favorite first "solid" foods?
That was a delight to look at. What spices do you put on your broccoli? What do you use on veggies broiled in oven?

Protein drink issues
I had surgery on 9-3. It's almost hard to say what to do, because after surgery your sense of taste is off. I liked Premier Protein shakes before surgery, but now I have a hard time getting them down. I've tried a lot of different types of protein, they all make me slightly nauseous. Just drink slowly. You could try the powders, but for me, they were worse.

Protein Suggestion!
That's what I drink too. But lately they taste too sweet for me.

Protein Suggestion!
I'm 5 weeks out and my protein shakes had been making me nauseous. But yesterday and today I tried something new, I left them in the fridge and just sipped on them all day. I had been trying to drink them in one sitting. I'm getting two in with no effort! I hope this is ok????

What do you drink?
My Premier shakes are making me sick too! Bought some Isopure today to try.

Please Help!
I'm almost 5 weeks out and I've been drinking Premier Protein, but everyday that goes by, they make me more nauseous. I threw up this morning. I have some Unjury powder that I put in my Crystal Lite, but the consistency makes me sick. I know I'm being picky. Where do you get Syntrax Nectar? I need something that will go in my Crystal Lite that doesn't make it too thick. What are some good options? I can't get enough protein from food yet. When can you eat protein bars?

Hey there September sleevers! Any one out there?
I'm 55. I've done great. My biggest problem is that I'm totally uninterested in food. I have to remind myself to eat.

Never Hungry!
I'm 5 weeks out. I'm never hungry. I have to remind myself to eat. I get all my fluids and protein (shakes) in. When I make myself food, I eat about 5 tiny bites and that's it. I couldn't care less about food. Is this normal?

11 Days Out! Too Full!
I'm getting in my required amounts. It just takes me all day to do it. Then I feel like there's not any room for food. It's a good thing I'm retired, I don't know how people who work do it.

11 Days Out! Too Full!
I'm 11 days out and trying to get all my liquids and protein in. It's a full time endeavor. I'm so full feeling all the time, I don't feel like even trying to eat anything. Is this normal?

2 week pre-op anxiety, wondering if I should cancel!
Surgery complications? Me none.

6 days post op
Premier Protein chocolate 30grams in 11oz. It was too sweet for me at first. I watered it down some. Now it's fine. I just drink a little bit at a time very slowly.

2 week pre-op anxiety, wondering if I should cancel!
I was scared too! My surgery was 9-3. I just told myself that my HBP, High Cholesterol, and almost certain chance of becoming diabetic, would eventually kill me. Not to mention I've already had surgery on both knees and my Dr. told me next was a total knee replacement. I'm 5 days out now and everyday I feel better. Drinking more, moving easier, and adjusting to my new normal. I hop this helps.
