  1. I Great to know about the Barimelts.I am still on all liquids but will do the pudding for the powdered herbs.I have heard about 2 supplements that are fantastic. Reviva Multivitamin and Mary Ruth organics multivitamin...chech them out.Both liquid.
  2. i just had my first meet with he surgeon yesterday and first diet appointment today and for my insurance i have to do the dietitian for 6 months it sucks but im sure if we dont think about it all the time it will go by in no time This is a major surgery and you need time to be tested and get clearance.Also to prep.Time will go by fast but note this is major so get ready.

  6. Whole foods have a lot of brands that are good.There are so many varieties...Syntax Nectar...believe me the day of surgery they won't be able to tell if you had Atkins,premier protein or bariatric advantage.

I just got revision from band to bypass .Post op 8 days...I couldn't be bothered with new "fad "" procedures that will evolve.I made the stupid mistake of "going with the less invasive procedure instead of the bypass back in 2004....major mistake...Bypass this time...so happy I finally got it right this time!!!!Bypass...the Gold Standard. They like to push you into the sleeve...it's a cash cow fast procedure.

  13. This was a good thread till I saw this. For heaven's sake, stop bashing surgeries that did not work for you. I understand you had issues with the band, but lots of others including myself have done well with it and are happy. Your initial post about why you are revising is fine. It's your story and you have every right to speak to it. But this post is unnecessary. Honey you are new to the game.I just had a 5 hour revision surgery because My esophagus band stomach ....major organs are messed up from years of having that lapband!I am speaking from experience!I am not new to the rodeo of WLS!I have had the band since 2004.I will say what I please.

  15. I don't like the way I feel 8 days post op My tongue is coated and my taste is muted.
  16. Heating pad,hot water bottle for ice compresses....
  17. A weird coating on my tongue at weird taste palette....
  18. Keep notes on everything for your visit to the dr.Start building your case for revision.
  19. Get omezarapole from your doctor.
