  6. does that include the bread with the burger or just the patty?
  7. I will be one month out of surgery tomorrow! and I am doing great! i can start transitioning to regular food Monday and I was wondering when it would be safe to try out a little bit of burger or a small bit of pizza? I am craving it soo bad, but if it isnt safe to eat of course i wont. any suggestions? when did you guys try it out?
  8. So I am almost a month post op, doing really well no pain or anything my only problem is the stupid protein shakes. I have Nectar fuzzy naval and double stuffed cookie and i can't seem to make either tolerable does anyone have any suggestions of either how to make them more tasty or which ones might be better.
  9. I had this happen for the first couple of weeks it really helped once i was on pureed food, but it is just something i am having to train myself..
  10. mine was the same as the first two responders definitely call and ask
  11. Well i am a week out from surgery, been off of pain meds since thursdayish and i was wondering what ya'lls doctors told you about sex after surgery, mine didn't say anything (possibly him thinking i am too young even though i am 19) but I am ready to take the bull by the horns (literally) but i am curious when it would be okay to take said bull by said horns
  12. i lost 20 pounds within 5 days of surgery, but i am also a male and weight a lot just like if you are pursuing weight loss the old fashion way it all depends on different aspects of your life.

  14. it does help seeing the pounds start to fall off of me, and i know it will all be better once i can actually start to eat some, thank you for all your support it really helps. food was always my comfort and thats why it sucks that i can no longer partake in it.
  15. After sitting here all day attempting to drink in fluids and trying to think of the positives out of this, i then start getting 'buyers remorse' the thoughts started coming to me that i will never be able to eat the things i used to and that i wont be able to live like a normal person my age. I have been questioning all day if this was the right decision (too late now). I question if i gave in too soon or if i didn't try hard enough to lose it the old fashion way. as i lay here in pain i keep thinking why did i do this to myself why didnt i just stay the way i was and enjoy food...anyone else go through this? any thoughts?
  16. I will definitely tell yall how it went when i wake up!
  17. Tomorrow morning at 5:30 am i check into the hospital for my surgery, it is so crazy to think that it is actually going to happen, i am so worried that my liver hasnt shrunk enough but i trust that if this is Gods will it will all work out!
