  4. I have heard it isn't bad. What's painful is the gas they fill you up with and I've had this with my gallbladder removal and walking is the best thing to get rid of it faster! =)

  10. Getting my sleeve done on 9/22 and looking to order things I will need weather it be for the hospital stay and must haves at home... so far I read sugar free pops is a must have along with gas-x strips.. anybody have any other must haves?

  12. I also have one discovered when doing my upper gi and dr is going to fix it during surgery. My nutritionist said it's common for people who eat quickly and don't chew their food well. Haven't done any research on it. I've had other hernia surgeries in past. Such a common fix =)

  17. Yes I had a bmi of 38.7 with a history of high blood pressure 2 years ago while pregnant (nothing since then) and just mild fibromyalgia... I also have the hernia in my stomach/esophagus so dr will be correcting that during procedure. I'm sure you will get approved. Good luck!!!

I just recieved the great news yesterday and scheduled my life changing date =) nobody I know has had weight loss surgery and looking to have some friends I can text or email with questions or just plain support. I plan on going to the monthly meeting my dr holds to help but wanting to make more buddies who have had vgs.

  21. Yay, after awhile of not knowing if I was going to get approved since I didn't have such a high BMI within 24 hours of submission I got approved and scheduled my surgey appointment ... Sept 22nd. So excited and nervous! .. no idea why I'm nervous because I haven't been yet.

  25. Hello everyone! I have bcbs federal with a BMI of 30 was curious if anybody had an experience getting approved with this BMI. Only other thing I have is fibromyalgia but diabetes and heart problems are such a problem with my.family.
