  1. I'm scared I will be in so much pain that I won't be able to work and I will drown in student loan debt and poverty.
  2. MyLastCigarette app is the best. I smoked for 15 years and I gave been a non-smoker for 1 year, 69 days, 16 hours, and 10 minutes. I used the nicotine patch and the My Last Cigarette app. The app helped the most. Here's what it tells you I have spent over $30,000 on cigs in my 30ish years on earth. Since I quit, I saved over $2,600. Plus a bunch of health related stuff. For example, I have added 35 days to my life. Over 4 million people have died of smoking related causes since I quit. Plus there's a nasty pic (usually cancer related) and a daily message. It tells you how many cigs you haven't smoked, 8,693 in my case. I still miss smoking but I can look at the app and see how far I've come. When I first quit I would look at the app every day, multiple times. Now I just look at it every now and then. For me the e-cigs were too close to real cigs. I kept cheating. Once I started the patch and the app, that was it. I haven't cheated once! It was/is an addiction for me. But I knew if I smoked on the patch I could/would have a heart attack or a stroke. If you get the app, be sure and write down your quit date, costs, and habits so if you get a new smart phone you can input the same data. I learned that the hard way. GOOD LUCK to you and everyone quitting out there.
  3. I'm a server and I've been researching the sleeve for 6 months. I know this is major surgery. I know everyone heals differently. And I know 4 weeks is the amount of time recommended to not lift heavy things. What I don't know is how long I will need to request off work. My average shift last 7-9 hours. I am constantly walking and walking quickly. I have to pick up everything customers/kids drop and throw. I sweep, mop, carry trays, wipe tables, carry supplies in and out of the restaurant, etc. I do not get a lunch break. I do not get to sit down if I'm tired. Let me please reiterate, I know everyone heals differently. I am just trying to get an idea. Anyone with similar work experience or just good advice, please write back. I'm so scared and excited!!! I would imagine mommies running around after kiddos probably have some great advice/experience. Please respond and thank you in advance!
