I hope your feeling better each day. I have been wondering about the pain after the sleeve procedure. I'm expecting pain since its surgery but curious about where the pain is coming from? Is it more abdominal, similar to a laparoscopic hysterectomy or do you actually feel the pain of your stomach being cut?
Maybe both? Not sure why I'm so focussed on this since I have a pretty good pain tolerance, I guess it's just the unknown.
I had major surgery a few years ago & was given what my anesthesiologist called a "cocktail"
prior to be going under. That was a beautiful thing. I will be asking if I'll be getting that cocktail again when I get sleeved.
Hello Everyone,
I'm very happy to have found this forum & look forward to reading & learning from everyone's own experience. I am Susan from Upstate NY. I have just earlier this month started my journey. I have Health Republic of NY insurance and they require 6 months of nutritional education before considering approval for Bariatric Surgery. That takes me into December before my Dr. can submit me for approval. Kind of disappointed, was hoping I wouldn't have to wait so long. Does anybody else have Health Republic of NY insurance? Was wondering how long it took for others with this insurance to get their answer after they were submitted by their Dr. ?
