I opted for a smaller one because of space and price, and I am not as happy with it. I love the elliptical also but I agree you get what you pay for.

If he can change why hasn't he did it already, from what you have told us I don't know why you would want to endure anymore of that abuse, he sounds like all the other men I know sound when they are losing control, mind you I have been down this road so I know what you are going through and how you feel. but just remember we are here to help you and I don't want you sucked into being abused anymore than you have been. there is a better life waiting on you but you have to be through with this one first, and the fact that you would even consider taking him back or the fact that you listen to him is a sign that maybe you are not through with him. It is a decision that only you can make, and you have to live with it either way, I don't envy you. I don't mean to sound so hard hearted it took me a few years to get that way from my own situation 25 years ago. since then he has did 4 other wives the same way or worse than me, only because we let him. That is the only way this man or anybody else can hurt you is if you let them, enough said, try to look at this as if it was your best friend going through this or your daughter going through this what you tell her to do??? would you want her to be treated this way, is this the example you want her to see, if so then go for it, either way we are still here for you....

mine varies from day to day or week to week, sometimes I will think I am too lose then the next day, I can't eat hardly anything. It has been this way the whole time, I have been banded for a year and half almost and only had 3 fills, don't know how much I have but as long as I lose and don't get hungry I am happy, as for the pb ing, that has become a way of life for me as long as it is not too often, I just have to be careful and concentrate on what I am doing or here it will come. hopefully I will not need another fill.

one week post op my port incision opened up and bled and then leaked for several days, I finally called the dr back and his nurse told me to come in, she said it was internal bruising and the old blood had to get out, she cleaned it, closed it with butterfly bandages and it healed nicely after that, i just had to be more careful for a few days, it happened when I was debating on who to tell that I had gotten the band, it did almost give me away but I had no other problems.

the first month is more critical for healing than losing, I did the liquids and protein shakes, it was rough but I did lose somehow. some report gaining and I think that is ok as long as you heal good then start the real work.

I took 5 weeks off but I work in a paper mill with alot of lifting and repetive motion. besides it was June and July and who wants to get that hot...it all depends on what you do..

everyone of you sound like my diet history. so we are not alone. the band is the best by far that I have ever did for myself... I just wish everyone that needs it like I did, could get it without all the insurance hassle... after all it saved my life...

i got it just not through cigna, I had wls in june 05 and I am down 130 pounds, it was a lifesaver for me...

congratulations, I was much heavier than you with a ton of comorbidities and still couldn't get it approved.

i think they are about even, but it is the party that thinks they are so moral that bothers me, covering theirs up and publicizing the other party's. That is a really bad issue to me.

he only did this to try to hurt you, be strong there's not much telling what he will try next, until he sees it don't work and he can't get to you. you are headed in the right path, but I don't envy your journey, just let it make you stronger, I traveled it before. he is a control freak, trying to control your emotions and you, You will be so much better off when this creep is out of your life, this makes me mad that he would do this to you.
