Hi there, Sorry to hear about your insurance. Seems to be the case with many people. I am unable to use insurance so I will be traveling to Mexico for my surgery. I am using Dr. Carlos Altamirano through BariatricPal. Honestly, the best thing you can do is go into the FB support groups for these doctors (choose a few) and just read & soak in all the information from post sleevers. You will learn so much and it will help you with your journey. His FB page is "Dr Carlos Altamirano Support Group". I know that if you put $500 down, it will freeze that price for a year. There are also a few finance companies they can also refer you to. Good luck with your journey!

Hi, I'm a "newbie" trying to get all the information I can before I take the "plunge". Are you still feeling the same or have your symptoms gotten better? Also, I keep hearing of people taking medication such as Prilosec. Is this something you will need to rely on the rest of your life? Any information you can give me is greatly appreciated, as I'm a nervous wreck even thinking about doing this! LOL......
