  1. It's so hard for me to get all of my fluids. I have definitely been trying, but it's super difficult.
  2. What Dr. did you use. I know someone looking to go the least expensive route. I'm glad u had a great experience.
  3. What is the best flavored broth that you guys have found. The hospital had some better tasting broth. I bought some Rachael Ray broth, it's so bland. I know there has to be better broth out there:( I tried calling the hospital but the cafe is not answering
  4. I find myself holding water in my mouth. Swallowing is definitely harder.
  5. I've been staying up to the minute with my pain meds. If I get off track, I do feel pain. My small incisions don't bother me, the bigger one is starting to cause some discomfort. Yes my throat hurts as well. I have been able to eat jello, drink water and broth today. I walked the halls at least 5 times. The worst part for me is this drip they have me on. It makes me have to urinate ALL day. Super annoying, they just decreased it for me. I hope they send me home with some good meds bc I hate pain. Right now I'm on a liquid med called hycet.
  6. Oh goodness, I would be wondering as well. Sounds like you were in a fight:) I sure it was worth it though.
  7. I also had a hernia that the Dr repaired. Mine was very high up
  8. You guys will be fine. I worried a lot as well prior to the surgery. I don't remember anything about the surgery other than being pushed into the OR. After surgery I was a bit groggy. I had a morphine pump so I haven't felt pain yet. I have been able to get down broth, water and jello so far. I feel great. I took a shower this a.m. and I've been walking a lot. Prayers for you all to have awesome experiences.
  9. I just had my surgery today. Feeling much better now that I've been able to relieve some gas. Everyone was so attentive and just awesome. I hope you all have great experiences.
  10. Well everyone, I have been sleeved:) this gas pain is terrible though. Other than that no complaints. Can't wait to hear from guys
  11. Lol!!!! Please don't let that be contagious lmao! I'm due any day now haha!!! I do not need that!!!!! That's so funny because I'm cleaning too!!! Cleaned my car out. Fridge is cleaned out. Kitchen cabinets. Everything in my bedroom is organized. Gotta shave your legs too don't forget lol!!!! LOL I did a complete shave, everywhere... I know nurses and Dr's privately talk.. didn't want that to be part of their convo. I also cleaned like crazy today. Washed my bed clothes and everything else.
  12. I will be in the hospital until Wednesday. I plan to show the Dr how great I'm doing tomorrow and maybe he'll release me. Fingers crossed!
  13. Yes my doctor allow me to eat up until midnight tonight. I am also on the low carb diet too.. but I decided to do liquids today
  14. Aww don't worry, we will all be in the same boat tomorrow lol. Nothing but clear liquids:) Oh and don't forget to check in as soon as you all can. I'm sure we'll be super busy until tomorrow night.
  15. You're doing great, it's been a struggle for me as well. Although I'm not required to do the liquid diet, I think all day tomorrow I will.
  16. Hi Kayla, I've been wondering my place in order for Monday, they didn't tell me:( but I'm still excited.
  17. No my doctor didn't make me do clear liquid, just high protein low carb. They said they know we will have to do the clear liquid afterwards so they didn't want me to before.
