I had a tummy tuck 15 months ago and I was just banded on January 10, 2008. My doctor said there was no problem and he was right, everything went fine.

Best of luck to you! I love the idea of 'spoiling' yourself the night before! We are pretty close in weightloss goals, we should keep in touch.

Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement... I guess we are all in this for the same reasons...and we all will be at this point sometime, thanks to all of you that have been through it and are making me feel better!! Citygirl, what city are you in? I get banded at 3:00 tomorrow-how about you? I am so hungry--but it will be worth it!!!

Well tomorrow is the day!! I am so excited and nervous, I have followed my pre-op diet 100%, but I am so worried. I know this is the right thing to do...I just wish I could fast forward to about three months in the future!!!

Hi Hilary, I too am being banded on January 10th in Aurora, Colorado. I will start my pre-op diet on New Years Day, I have to do a low-carb for ten days prior to the banding. I am so excited and also a bit hesitant...I know this is for the best. Best of luck too you!! Charlotte
