  1. I had my surgery 4 months ago and am now losing my hair by the handfuls (or so it seems). I am scared to death I am going to lose all of it. I hope it stops soon or I won't have any hair left (I have very thin and fine hair as it is).
  2. I had very severe gas pains for 6 weeks after my surgery and I finally started taking Gas-X on a regular basis (as directed on package) and they finally subsided, Thank God! I felt like I was having a heart attack and they would take my breath away. I wasn't able to walk them off because they hurt so badly. I have had no further problems since.
  3. I am able to drink soda, but I only have 1cc fill in my band right now maybe that is why I can drink it. It does make you feel full though. I love beer and I have tried drinking it twice, but it just makes you feel so BLOATED! You will have to see how you do. If you do try it do it slowly!
  4. Good luck tomorrow! Hope to hear how you are doing after your surgery!
  5. I am sorry to hear about your horrible experience!
  6. I wish I had good advice for you but I don't. I am still having trouble with gas after 6 weeks!!! If I get any good advice I will pass it on to you, I promise.:rolleyes
  7. Hi Marcy, I was banded on 11/20/07 and I am still having horrible gas pain in the middle of my chest. I don't know what is causing it, hopefully someone can help us both. I also get nauseous after eating sometimes.
  8. I had my surgery 11/20/07 and haven't had a good burp since! P.S. I was a real good burper before I had this done!!!!
  9. I had lap band surgery on November 20, 2007 and I am having terrible trouble with intermittant pain in the middle of my chest that appears to be a "gas bubble". The pain is excruciating and almost debilitating at times. I have not vomited and am able to eat but very uncomfortably. Has anyone experienced this problem after surgery and do you have a cure for it. The doctor said to take Gas-X which doesn't work. Please help if you can!!!:help:
