Had hypothyroidism and most of my thyroid removed. Not Hasimotos. My endo was all for this. I only need to lose 60-65 lbs but my sugar was high, triglycerides and cholesterol too, even with a bmi of 35. So far down 33 lbs. Sleeved July 10.
That happened to me today too. I'm doing what I'm suppose to and dr and nut said I'll stall. My clothes are so baggy so I'm losing inches. It's all good.
I'm almost 7 weeks out. My dr said I can have alcohol. Went out Saturday to a club and ordered Malibu rum and cranberry. Drank it over 2 hours with water. I was fine. I'm down 33 lbs and 30 more to go. Every dr is different. I am 52. Was told over and over didn't need calcium and had bloodwork done and my calcium was too high! Gave up soda a long time ago. Sometimes miss carbonation.
Coffee ok too but I don't drink it.
Care credit will give you 0% interest up to 24 months for some medical expenses. I don't have very good dental coverage and use the card a lot. You need to talk to them because it's a certain amt before it's 0% and for how many months.
I had lapband 3 years ago and only had it for 3 months! I was losing at a good pace. Then I had a fill. Once I did, I couldn't keep anything down especially water. All the fill was taken out. Just kept burping. My surgeon and gastroenterologist agreed to remove it. July 10, I had gastric sleeve. Hoping this goes much better since it's permanent.
I'm new to this site. Had my surgery July 10. Not much pain but wondering if I did the right thing now. Can't sleep, feeling somewhat depressed. Does anyone else feel like this?
