Hello,  I am excited to embark on a new and important chapter in my life.  I have been heavy since 1991 when my daughter was born.  The weight accumulated over the years and increase at a rapid rate when we moved to North Carolina in 2000.  Last December, my family and I travelled to Jordan to see Petra. We had planned on a two day visit to the archeological site, but due to the extra weight I carried I was not able to partake in Day 2!  This was my wake up call...  i no longer wanted to miss out because of my weight.  After completing the necessary prerequisites, I had my sleeve surgery on July 15.  Following my recovery my husband and I will be moving to Singapore for a 2 year work assignment. This surgery is truly a new beginning and I can't wait!
