  1. Mine is Dec 17th in West Palm Beach, FL.
  2. Good luck to everyone! I'm scheduled next week. Already nervous. I'm be a mess by next Wednesday! Lol! Just want it over with. Let us know how your surgeries go tomorrow.
  3. I'm scheduled 12/17. So ready for it! I only have to do 2 days of clear liquids before surgery.
  4. I'm an ICU RN. I think we spend so much time taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves!
  5. I too am waiting for insurance approval. I was hoping to get a call yesterday (Friday) but it didn't come. I hope it happens soon so I can plan my life for December... Lol!
  6. Hi everyone! I should get insurance approval by the end of the week. I'm hoping for either December 1 or 7th... So excited! Ready for the surgery! I love all the support and advice I read on here!
  7. Good luck! Let us know how things go!!
  8. My nut recommended Centrum chewable. They're orange flavored. I also take chewable Caltrate, calcium pills.
  9. So I've finished my 3 months of nutritionist visits, did my psych evaluation, etc, etc... Now I see the surgeon on Monday. Once I see him, they will send all my info to insurance for approval. What questions do I need to ask the surgeon about the surgery itself, etc.. I always feel stupid when I'm at a doctors office because every question I thought of before, totally leaves me! Lol! Thanks for any help!????????????
  10. Boynton Beach, Florida
  11. I signed up. Any day is good for me as long as I get notice far enough in advance. I work a lot of weekends but usually I can trade days with my coworkers.
  12. Swerdy that would be great!
  13. No my doc doesn't have any support groups. You would think that with so many people having WLS that there would be more support groups around. I live down in Boynton and I've checked all over palm beach county and really haven't found any support groups except for those offered by specific docs and they are only for their patients. I've done a lot of research online and asked me coworker a hundred questions.
  14. ssflbelle I'm seeing Dr Robert Cywes in Jupiter. I was referred to him by a coworker who already had the sleeve done in March. I really like him and his office. I'm looking at December surgery, at St Mary's Med Center.
  15. ssflbelle Posted Today, 1:14 PM Catmom Do you have a surgeon yet? Whom might it be? I am using Dr Vaughan and we are looking at Jan for my sleeve. Right now I am on a supervised 6 month diet.
  16. I'm in Palm Beach Co. Still going through my 3 month physician supervised diet. I don't have a surgery date yet. Hoping for first week of December. I'm so excited with this journey. I love reading about everyone's experiences. I'm learning so much about what to expect before and after surgery.
