I used Dr David Kim in Colleyville TX. They have a cash pay option. My ins. Wouldn't cover WLS. But they repaired hernia and got part of procedure covered by insurance and I only paid $4900. Suggest you call and they can do an check for you too to see how low we qualify for. Awesome clinic. And the best after care and support.

Hi there. I had the inverted sleeve done October 2014 with Dr Kim. Had no issues at all. It's actually a bit of reassurance to know it won't leak and makes the staple line stronger. I can eat about a cup of food so it doesn't effect volume either. I've lost 130 lbs and couldn't be any happier with my decision to go to KBI for my procedure

I had my surgery with Dr Kim at KBI October 2014. Dr. Holden did my EGD. Both surgeons are great doctors. Very pleased with my experience with this clinic. I owe them so much without them I wouldn't be 120 lbs lighter

Can you tell me which doctors or clinics do offer the hiatal hernia price? My ins won't cover WLS surgery, but I have been told by my PCP that I have a hiatal hernia. This might be the route for me. Thanks! I did this with Dr Kim at Kim Bariatrics. Cash pay with HH repair was $4900. I had sleeve 10/27/14. Great practice. You'll love them.

Dr Kim did my inverted sleeve October 2014. I have had no problems with new stomach and do love the reassurance of extra layer of protection from leaks and stretching. I failed at so many things before surgery, so going into this I told myself I would not fail at this and I would follow their plan diligently. As weight started coming off I was able to increase my exercise activity. I never ran before surgery (except when being chased by crazy clowns LOL). Now I am running in 5k races and attending bootcamp classes. All thanks to this wonderful clinic. I feel very blessed to have chosen KBI to have access to so much aftercare support and tools. They want you to succeed and not many surgeons help you along after the surgery. This practice does. Good luck in your journey, I highly recommend you consult with KBI before making your choice.

Dr Kim performed my sleeve 10/27/14. Best day of my life! I just love this practice. They were very clear on what my BCBS insurance wouldn't cover and gave me options as a self pay patient. They provided me a clear outline of the costs and nothing was ever a surprise for me. They are always eager to answer questions and provide so much encouragement and support. You will love the staff. Dr Kim is a "tell it like it is" kind of guy but I wanted and needed to hear that, no more sugar coating for me. It was time I changed my life. I've lost 120 lbs and only 5 away from goal.

I had the EGD and they found the hernia. I didn't know I had one. It never gave me any trouble. I've learned that odds are really high that overweight people have HH due to over eating. So very likely you may have one. KBI Dr Kim's cash price with the HH was $4900

So amazing. It's positive support and just what you need for all the questions you'll have along the way. They become your family You're in the best hands.

I found out I had a HH pre op as well. Dr Holden at KBI did my EGD test to see if I had one to qualify for MBA program where it would cost me less since I was a cash patient. So happy to have that option. My sleeve surgery was 10/27/14 with Dr Kim and I'm over joyed at my success. I've lost 117 lbs.

I had my sleeve done by Dr Kim at KBI in Oct 2014. Best decision I ever made. Their practice and staff are amazing. I can't imagine going anywhere else. KBI offers so much more than just surgery. Their after care and support help you be successful in your journey. Free monthly support group meetings, private FB page for patients only, organized 5k event runs together, free bootcamp classes with Nate Newton 2x month, Breakfast and dinner fellowships, and much more. I've followed their plan diligently and have become more active than I have ever been. I've been in six 5k races since Feb of this year. I've lost 112 lbs, went from a size 24/3x to size 12 and medium. I could not have done this without the support and encouragement from KBI. I agree it is sad what happened to the man who lost his legs, but please do not judge this practice based on the media report. It's not the whole truth. Great practice that I would advise anyone, including my family to consult with.
