Hi everyone. I am almost 4 week post-op & need a good fill doctor. I can travel from Miami to Plam Beach Or in Ocala if the doctor is real good. I would like to know names of doctors used & prices if known. Any advice may help. Thanks, Sally

Oh Thanks your so sweet. I really need to loose about 80 more lbs. That would put me at 130. I carry most of my weight in my thighs

Hey All, Today I set out to get my 2nd fill at 9:00 I then got lost & then they couldent find my port or I should say thought they were on it but in fact she was not. After being poked a million times . She decided to call doctor who happens to work out of the hospital closest to my house. How strange is that. Anyway he was so nice. He met me at the hospital & did my fill under floro I was finally finished around 3:00. Hope my future fills never take that long. The good that came out of it is that this Doctor is willing to do all my future fills. I ended up with 1.4 cc more which leaves me at 3.4cc Hoping that this time I reach my sweet spot. I was so worried that I may have had a leaking port but I dont. Today wont be easy. I dident eat anything & now need to stay on liquids for the next 24 hrs. I'll keep you all posted on my progress .

Ive been at a stall myself. Ive lost 33 lbs to date with only 1 fill. I will be getting my 2nd fill tomarrow at 9am Yea!!!! I decided to put it off until the holidays were over. Im finding also that I can eat SOOOOOOOOOOOO much more than before so now is the time. Only hoping that this next fill hits the spot with a faster weight loss.

Im having the same kinda thing going on Iive been banded almost 4 months & have only lost 24lbs. Which Im not to happy about I will be 4 months on the 22nd of Dec which will make 122 days & Its just not happening for me ????? In the past prior to trhe band I could loose 39 lb in 120 days. Makes no sence to me. The scale has been playing tricks on me also thats why Im trying to stay off of it right now .It makes me feel like a Yo-Yo playing in the +2/- 2 range. I do have a fill set for the 13th but not sure if thats the problem. I still feel restriction some of the time & not all that hungry ??????

I was wondering if anyone out there has had No weight loss after having a fill. I had my first fill almost a month ago. I was told by Dr.Rumbaut that he put in 2cc in a 4cc band. Some days I have great restriction & cant keep much down & other days I can eat but always much less than before I ever had the band The scale just I'sent moving. Still at -19 and Im starting to feel like Im failing at this. Before I was ever banded I could loose about 40lbs in 3 1/2 to 4 months. Ill be 3 months post-op on the 22nd & no change. Please Help

Hi Everyone I just got back from mexico last night. Dr.Rumbaut did my fill under floro.& put in 2cc. I had no problem with any liquide & The doctors said if I can deal with that to try soft food. No problems on soft foods yet even though I dident try to eat to much of it. The funny thing is that I feel more hungry today than before my fill. Is this normal or are some days tighter than others? Why with 2cc Im not feeling like I have a good fill. My doctor said this may be my only fill for a while but Im not feeling that yet. Mexico is much to far to go back to soon. When he was doing the fill there was more in the band but took it out because the liquid wasent passing. Please help having a fill is all so new to me & I thought I could tell a diffrence from the start.

Hey Kathy, I Had No Problem Yesterday Eating 1/2 A Small Burger For Lunch Until The Last Bite. Ho Baby!!! Then I Felt Restriction. But Last Night I Tried To Eat Some Eggs & Most All Of It Came Back Up. Are We Or Should I Say Do Us Bandsters Get Tighter Diffrent Times Of The Day??? Weird Very Soft Food But Yet It Wouldent Pass.

I have lost -18 lbs so far. I will be going back to Mexico next Wed. October 12th Im going have Dr.Rumbaut do my 1st fill. So happy to be banded & looking foward to see what having fills are like.

Hey Girls, Im thinking of using Dr.Gomez $300.00 is not to bad but I did want to use the Floro. for the 1st fill but your right prices on fills got to be a little to $$$$ for me & then to stay over night. Dr.Rumbaut said to use Dr.Marema or Dr. Jacobs in Coral Gables & Dr.Gomaz does the fills in Jacobs office because I understand that they work together now so I guess he will be ok. Im looking foward to my 1st .fill Im not eating to much but starting to feel hunger if you know what I mean. Im 4 weeks post-op today & the scale I'sent moving for me. I would also like to get a fill asap. 1st week of October. Keep in touch .Maybe we can meet up .E-mail about waht day your going & Ill try to get my appointment for around the same time. Oh as far as travel if I found someone better, Yes I would spilt costs for but right now I thinK Dr. Gomez is the best to get! the job done !!! Besides Ive heard only good things about his fills & experiance.

If you decide to use Dr. Rumbaut. I dont think you will be sorry. Hes a great surgeon. I to was bannded by Dr.Rumbaut last month on 8/22/05 . I also have my S/N # & info from Inamed on my surgery report
