  8. Hi, I am starting the process for weight loss surgery I live in Canada so I'm getting one that's covered under OHIP. I go today for an appointment with the nurse&social worker. I am a little nervous seeing as I hate how people look at me in the medical field. I've gone to the hospital numerous times with diabetes related things & I can honestly tell you - it doesn't feel good to be told "you'd feel better if you'd just lose weight" over & over again. I think I'm in good psychological condition and my parents are 100% behind me. The only thing I'm worried about is the after surgery. I'm an emotional eater. I eat all the time. Not being able to drink pop is another thing I'm scared of - which if you think about it is quite stupid. I look forward to talking to you all.
