  1. I'm feeling really defeated. I have been stuck at the same weight since February 10th. I've only lost 5 pounds since January 10. I've been working out 6 days a week including running 3.5 miles once a week. I'm not eating sweets or candy and trying to stick to low carb as much as possible. I've never had soda and all I drink is water decaf coffee or unsweetened tea. I just threw in the towel and cancelled all my workout classes this week. I'm so frustrated. WHY IS THE SCALE NOT MOVING! Sorry for the vent. Ugh
  2. My six month check up is next week. I was sleeved on August 14. HW 230 SW 215 CW 159. I had a horrible stall the entire month of January up until today. Whew! I was starting to panic a little. Great job everyone! It was really hard for me the first 2 months but I love my sleeve now.
  3. He was my surgeon. I thought he was a great Dr. His staff is incredible and I was so thankful for their support. He wasn't very personable but I was more concerned with his work. I never talked to him after the surgery but another doctor from his office checked on me everyday and she was fantastic.
  4. I'm at the same exact weight as you and we both started at same weight ! Excellent! My surgery was August 14th. I've been stalling this month. Very frustrating now.
  5. I was sleeved on 8/14 and have lost 46 lbs. Very slow now. I've only lost 5 lbs since November 11th and nothing in the past 10 days. I am doing spin class 3 - 4 days a week. Maybe I'm building muscle. Ha ha ha. Still not getting protein and water in like I should.
  6. I had mine on August 14th. Down 41 lbs since surgery. Down 2 pants sizes and I am losing my hair by the handful. My weight loss has slowed this month to about a pound every 12 days.
  7. I had mine on 14th as well and I was stuck these past two weeks. The scale finally moved this morning. Hang in there!
  8. I am having the same issue. I was sleeved on 8/14. Having hard time getting liquids and proteins in because of it. Dr wants to see me on Thursday. I'm bummed. I thought I'd feel way better by now.
  9. It took about 5 business days for my approval and about 2 weeks from that for my surgery date. Good luck!
  10. Hi all. Im ten days post op and just trying cream soup, cottage cheese and yogurt. I can get about 4 oz of soup down in one sitting but only two spoonfuls of cottage cheese. How much are you all getting in?
  11. Hi @bonniegold. I had mine done on August 14th as well!
  12. I had my sleeve on the 14 th. I'm getting about 48 oz in today. I'm only allowed water, broth, tea, sf jello, and diluted juice until 26th. I must be having head hunger since all I want to do is eat when I walk into the kitchen. I'm still having cramps with cold liquids.
  13. @natashaS. So glad you are feeling better too. I'm glad that I read others experiences on here. It's what kept me going knowing what I was feeling was nothing abnormal and to keep pushing through it. Gotta keep sipping and moving. Warm liquids seem to feel better on my tummy.
  14. @natashS. Just got home from hospital a couple hours ago. First two days were rough and second guessed my decision. I feel better now that I'm home. Just focusing on getting fluids in. Gas pains and one of my incisions are the only things bothersome. I will get back on here in a couple days. Thanks. How is everyone else?
  15. Packing now. I have brain fog so I'm sure I'll forget something! I have to be at hospital at 5:30 am. Surgery at 7:30. I wish you both the best tomorrow! See you on the losers bench! Packing now. I have brain fog so I'm sure I'll forget something! I have to be at hospital at 5:30 am. Surgery at 7:30. I wish you both the best tomorrow! See you on the losers bench!
  16. So so happy for you! Hope you are feeling great soon!
  17. Last day of liquid diet! Sleeve on Friday! This is it and I'm nervous beyond words. I took off work today to clean the house. Hopefully it will take my mind off everything for a little bit today. I wish everyone well! Here's to great health and happiness!
  18. I can't tolerate artificial sweeteners. I use isopure pure protein isolate. Its unflavored and I mix it with fair life skim milk, frozen milk cubes, and a couple of cut up strawberries. I have a ninja mixer and it blends perfectly. I've never liked sweet drinks so I had to concoct my own. Hope this helps.
  19. I decided only my husband should know. I am doing my pre-op diet this week and a man I work with came up to me today and said that I should speak with another co-worker that had a gastric bypass since he assumed that was why I was having surgery. I was really appalled. I told him I wasn't having a bypass and that its really private to me so much so that I am not telling my kids let alone a coworker. I would never have the nerve to say anything like that to anyone. I was mortified, hurt and angry in that order. I can't wait until Friday!
  20. Hi Natasha. I'm on the 14th too. Started my liquid diet today. I'm nervous too but glad there is support here.
  21. That is awesome! I'm glad everything worked out for you. I will keep you posted. I have pre-op appt on the 5 th and my pre-op diet starts on 10th and surgery on 14th. It's going fast now!
