Hi! I stumbled upon Bariatric Pall in my research on the Sleeve surgery. I have always battled excess weight. In my memory, there is only a short period of time in my life where I was at a goal weight and that was my senior year in high school. Even then, it resulted from a summer of back to back basketball camps where all I ate was one salad a day. In other words, it was very unhealthy weight loss. Once back in school and back to a normal life, the weight slowly came back on. In college it came on much much faster, mostly because I ate horrible and stopped exercising as much. As the years went on, my weight went up and down based on what was going on in my life. The whole time, I swore I would never allow myself to hit 300 lbs. Surely I would be able to just exercise and that would never happen. Well, sadly I was at 300 when I got pregnant 3 years ago. When my son was born, I reached my highest weight of 332 lbs and I stayed there for about 2 1/2 years. It was not until I made this decision to get the sleeve surgery that I finally saw results on the scale. It's a daily battle, but I feel with this surgery, I am better armed to take on a society that is food driven. Here is to a brightand healthy future with my family!
