Lose skin
Does anyone's insurance pay for a tummy tuck. I think the 2 areas that will concern me the most are my upper thighs and my stomach due to rashes and chafing. My boobs don't worry me too much bc hell just put a bra on. But thanks for all the advice!

Weightloss before surgery
Dr is sending me to a dietician to put me on a diet before if God willing they approve my surgery and my husband doesn't get laid off. Anyways has anyone lost 20+ lbs being on their diet? Also, my biggest fear is getting denied surgery or my husband getting laid off and losing our insurance. Did yall find the whole process beneficial and rewarding in helping your weight loss goals?

Personal question.
I work in hospice and my cure all is mix some miralax and Gatorade and go for it! Stool softener is a must if you've been severely constipated! It will keep you making ur butt hole bleed.

MUSC/Medical University of South Carolina
Has anyone ever had their surgery with them? And if so, good or bad results? I could have my surgery in a shorter time with them. But the place I'm at now says they see a lot of their patients due to bad surgery techniques.

Great West Insurance thru Cigna PPO
Thanks daisee! I have arthritis and sjogrens since I was 15 and pcos so I have documentation from many Drs regarding my morbid obesity. I don't have a specific letter, but my pcp sent over the last 3 years of my medical records and I will get Obgyn and rheumatologist to do as well. My first appt with the dr is on July 2. So I'm hoping everything goes smoothly and these 3 months fly by. I'm also praying my copay isn't too high. Bc anything more than 2k I can't do the surgery since I'm already in debt ????.

Great West Insurance thru Cigna PPO
Does anyone else have this insurance? Called my agent and said they will pay as long as I can prove that I'm morbidly obese. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Hi I'm new and starting my process/ insurance question's
Hi my name is Allison and I live in Summerville, Sc right outside of Charleston. I have great west insurance through Cigna PPO. They say they cover it 80/20 only if it's proven that I am morbidly obese which I am. I'm 280 with a bmi of 45. My husband is worried he will get laid off and I'm wanting to get the surgery asap, but it's a 3-4 month process. My other option is at MUSC, but their have been bad reviews. They said that I could have it within 1 month n a half. But the office I'm going to now has told me they have had to fix several mistakes made by those surgeons. Has anyone had experience with my insurance and I'm Very worried.
