  5. I stalled for 3 weeks. I was expecting it so I stopped getting on the scale. At about 1 month and 1 week post op I checked the scale and I had lost 9 more pounds. The stall happens but the weight loss will continue after a while. My only fear is losing too much weight and looking sickly. I want to reach my goal weight and maintain. Don't really want to be skinny
  6. Why aren't you drinking protein shakes on your pre-op diet?
  7. I've used vanilla and coconut extract. It taste good and I had no adverse reaction.

  9. Just try making your shakes as interesting a possible. Keep a variety of sugar free non carbonated drinks handy. Try and get use to it. This is pretty much how it will be when you get home from the hospital. I was sleeved on oct 15th and it has been smooth sailing so far. My doctor allowed me to chew sugar free gum on my two week liquid diet. It helped when i became weary of liquids. Hang in there.

  12. My surgery on the 15th went great. No complications. No need for pains mess until I got home. Surgery was at around 8:00a.m. and I was released to go home at 6:30 pm. The only issue I'm having is figuring out if I'm taking in enough liquids. I never have a full feeling but I get a discomfort in my chest at a certain point. I'm going to call the doctor today and ask about it.I dontvwant to be starving myself and not know it!
