2 weeks post op, 20lbs down, yay! I'm having a little problem the last 2 days. Every time I go from sitting to standing I get the dizzies and feel like I'm going to pass out. Anyone else have this issue?
This is so crazy coming across this because I was literally just going to post the same sort of thing. I'm 2 weeks exactly today and am down 16 pounds. I've been at the same weight 3 days in a row. Not complaining and I know it's so early but I don't really know what to expect. I almost feel like I'm not eating enough. My diet is all about protein but I'm only conditions about 300-400 calories a day. Normal or no?
I haven't had any caffeine since my surgery a week ago. My NUT said that caffeine may stimulate your appetite. I'm surprised at how well it's going without it, I was a 4-5 cupper.
There are some awesome recipes out there for alternatives like, peanut butter bread, zucchini chips, mashed cauliflower, etc. My dietitian gave me tons of recipes. Try pinterest!
I'm on the clear liquid diet, also had surgery on July 1st. I broke down tonight and had 1tbsp of cottage cheese for dinner with my family. The though of broth is making me nauseous. I also will have a couple sips of a protein shake when I feel 'hungry'. It's a rough road but worth it..... I hope!

I won't miss overpaying for plus size clothes and being able to find great deals!! Clearance racks here I come!
... Oh yeah, I never want to wear Spanx ever again!! Always being hot in those suckers.
Your Dr has you on protein shakes already? I'm still on clear liquids for a few more days, I'm 5days post op. Good to hear you're tolerating them so well, a shake sounds like a dream right about now...
I also had surgery on July 1st. The pain meds actually made me feel worse. I took my tummy binder off today and feel actually better without it. I'm still not sure what full feels like, hard to tell if it's fullness or incision pain.
I am still on all liquid diet and 4days post op. I am struggling watching my family eat normal foods. I have found myself feeling hungry but I know it's just 'Head hunger'. I just keep telling myself, it's not worth it and to charge through it!
