  1. Yes, I am taking omeprazole twice in a day, morning and night, which is another name here in Europe for Prilosec.
  2. Hi folks, so I'm 9 days out and have been sticking to the liquid diets. I live off low-fat yogurt, Protein drinks like nutridrink and cup-a-Soups. About 4-5 small meals a day, 3-4 hour intervals, as suggested. Sometimes though, I still feel hunger! Is this normal? Wasn't the whole point of this surgery the lack of hunger to sustain long-term weight loss? On the upside, have already lost (in 11 days!) about 9 kilos! Whoop whoop! So is it normal I'm feeling hungry? Thoughts? Thx
  3. Hi, So I've had my surgery last Tuesday, when I was around 128 (194cm height, 33 year old male). I was discharged on Friday and spent the weekend at home, resting (binging on Netflix's OITNB ) All I've "eaten" was of course the nutridrink, cup-a-Soups (without the bits) and low fat clear yogurts, following my post-op diet to the letter (as well as taking meds and vitamins), as it was given by the doc. I've been losing a kilo a day since (today I weighed in at 123). But today I've felt light-headed, dizzy and generally beat. Yesterday I tried walking but was bushed after 10 minutes, has to stop over at a coffee shop and rest for an hour. Also, there's been some pain in my stomach and I was wondering: could I be starving? I know it sounds crazy but... I've been eating at least 4-5 mini-meals as suggested, but when I went to bad my stomach had these cramps or whatever? I'm not sure, as all these sensations are new and I don't yet know what to make of them and whether any are red flags. Have my GP appointment tomorrow morning and my new nutritionist appointment on Tuesday, but was just hoping you good people could tell me I was crazy and that it's completely fine to feel bushed not even a week after surgery. Are you seeing anything abnormal in my story? I know it might seem idiotic, but I'm all alone here and kinda freaking out. Thanks, everybody.
