  1. This is all such great info!! Thank you all for responding !!
  2. I haven't discussed it with my sugeon yet but I can do 11 days. That's it. LOL. Considering I came home from a c-section in 48 hours and walked up a flight of stairs and took care of my son alone everyday until I went back to work, I think this should be fairly easy. What's up Wonder Woman!!!! Hahah
  3. So let's talk about rehabilitation time.... I have seen people taking a month, two weeks, 5 days... What do your surgeons recommend?
  4. So I keep going back and forth wether or not to tell my job? You just use vacation... As if nothing happened. Any thoughts? Have you told your employer?
  5. You can purchase them at Unjury.con $9.95 2x chicken Soup 2x chocolate 2x vanilla 2x strawberry Sorbet 2x unflavored Beverage thermometer Rubbermaid shake bottle I think thought it was a great way to sample them! It shipped super quickly too!
  6. I received my unjury samples... I ordered them after someone recommended them to me as being "nut" free... Well the vanilla and strawberry sorbet were awesome! This morning I went to try the Chocolate and wah wah.. It has tree nuts as ingredient! ... Anyone else have any suggestions for "nut" free shakes, powders, etc?
  7. I have made a ton of drastic changed in my eating habits and I am happy to report no has been hurt .... Yet.. Hahah
  8. @sleevemetoo I tried the Muscle Milk Meal Replacement shake this morning. It was actually pretty good! You might check it out.
  9. Happy Monday everyone! Does anyone have anything WLS related going on this week? I have my first weight mgmt meeting on Tuesday. Plus, drumroll please.... I removed all unhealthy food and Snacks from my pantry and donated them to the food bank, this weekend. New slate!
  10. So i had a minor defusing of my WLS bubble yesterday. (It is not a pop... A little air was just let out) I went in for my Psych eval and while I am happy to report I am psychologically normal, the psychiatrist would not sign off on weight loss surgery just yet. I have to go back for another appointment in four (4) weeks. He said he did not feel like I was mentally prepared for WLS and that I needed to consider possibly reducing my extra curricular activities to prove I am committed to taking better care of myself... After contemplating it, it makes since that this surgery will be life altering and that I cannot continue to live the daily life that I am living because I will keep getting the same results. I expected my diet to be changed drastically but I have never considered my schedule. I am committed to make any necessary changes that I need to make, I was just taken back by all of this. (Am I not prepared? Am I over analyzing this?) Any thoughts or comments?
  11. I have not purchased any food yet... But I did buy a huge pack of bathroom size Dixie cups... I saw on Pinterest that they are a great way to measure 3oz. I thought it was a brilliant idea! I am going to do your broth and jello idea on my next grocery store round September will be here before we know it!
  12. I also just seen my surgeon on Friday and have the rest of mine scheduled, July and August, I went to Junes same day I met with surgeon, how cool is that, we could possibly be scheduled for surgery around the same time as well That is awesome! It's very surreal! I called to make my psych eval and was able to get an appointment tomorrow!! Now if this tropical storm will just cooperate and stay away from Houston I will be excited!
  13. I just saw my surgeon on Friday... I scheduled all of my weight management classes (June, July, August) and I hope to scheduled for September! Is this surreal to anyone else?
