Thanks guys. I have an autoimmune that really keeps my mouth dry and parched. I always, always have something to drink. The thought of trying to eat and not having anything to drink with it is hard for my mind to grasp. I do want to "follow the rules" and not go against what is recommended. But I was wondering if I did sip something at a restaurant out of caving to my dry mouth, would there be an ugly scene at the table?

My friend had this and went in to doc and he put her on the table and did an adjustment (he is a D.O.) He said she had a rib out of place which sometimes happens from the surgery/gas etc. As soon as he adjusted it, she felt immediate relief. Just a thought. Hope it goes away for you!

So I have been told that after being sleeved, I must wait 15 minutes after drinking fluids to eat any food. Also must finish eating and wait 30 minutes before drinking anything or it will all come back up! How true is this for you?? I would love some input on how you handle this.

Ok I just mixed my pre made protein drink with SILK UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK. I blended it with ice in the blender. Ahhh! So much better than the sweet sweet taste of those drinks! Only 30 calories and 1 carb. Try it!

Well I have been wanting this for 8 years and finally just gave it to God. A week later one of my clients came in and had lost 80 pounds since I had seen her 5 months before. She recommended the doctor. Then I found out that my business partner of 18 years had her lap band done by the same doctor 7-8 years ago. She loves him. Also, he has had WLS himself! I really prayed about this and I even posted a prayer on a prayer wall app for God to take this weight struggle away, two days later was when my client walked in and it has been such an easy process since then. It really just seemed to me that HE was steering me through this.

I'm here in North Richland Hills, Texas getting sleeved on june 15th. One week left????

I'm new to this site. Going to get sleeved on 6/15/2015. My story in a nut shell... I went from bikini model babe to eating my way to doubling my weight over the past 20 years. I am an expert diet pro. I have gained/lossed 80%/40% of my body weight respectively. I have done this more than I can count. My husband of 10 years met me as I was hitting a low weight 152. We've been married 10 years and I have ballooned up to 227. He has never treated me any different. I fought the deadliest form of breast cancer and so far 5.5 years out and I'm still alive. Now I really want to live!! But not at the fat, unhealthy weight I'm at now. I don't want to do anything or go anywhere and I hate the mirrors. So after considering this for 8 years now The Lord is blessing me with this opportunity. I don't know how to fill out profile. I hope to get to know some great people who can share this journey with me!????
