  1. I use eas carb control protein shakes. Og of sugar.
  2. I started out a size 16 and now two years later I am a size 5. I cried in the fitting room when I seen my new Size. All the hard work paid off. I will still keep working hard.
  3. Walking helps with the nausea
  4. How many egg bites are included in the price and how much are they? Thanks
  5. I was sleeved 8/17/15. So I am two years out. All I can say is remember everything you have gone through to get this far. You should be so ready. I was nervous the morning of my surgery. I saw the hospital bed prepped for me and almost backed out until my surgeon walked in. He eased my mind. He said I was in perfectly good hands and I'll be done before I know it. Then my hubby and my son came in and gave me a hug and a kiss and said I've got this. They have supported me through it all. You are strong and you can do this. Can't wait to see you on the losing side. Good luck and hope to hear from you and how it all went. I waited one hour after surgery and went walking around the hospital floor every twenty minutes. I refused the morphine drip. This walking helped me overcome the nausea and made me very strong. Best of luck to you
  6. My dr says you can have decaf coffee. Just no caffeine whatsoever.
  7. Congratulations. You look amazing. Keep up the good work.
  8. I really just omit the carbs and substitute an extra veggie.
  9. I use the centrum chewable. They are not chalky. We are not supposed to use gummies. Hope this helps.
  10. I had bad neuropathy in my legs and I was unable to get my walking in. So this winter I gained about 30 pounds. I'm hoping I can lose it without going to those extremes. I will talk to him next month. But for now I still have the neuropathy pain. I must overcome the pain and keep on exercising. I have not strayed from my diet. Just no exercising and his last words to me last year were. "2 oz protein, 2 oz vegetables, get your water in and at least 45 minutes of exercise a day" I have to get back to it. Just listen to what his last words were. Thank you so much for the advice.
  11. You look amazing. I think I want to talk to my surgeon about this when I see him next month. My sleeve was done in 8/17/15. I started to put on he weight again. I really need help.
  12. At least six days a week I have a protein shake or protein smoothie. I add my fruit and veggies into that. It's really refreshing in the summertime. I usually have eggs on Sunday. Hope this helps. Sometimes I'll even just have a Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.
  13. First of all, you look amazing! Congratulations. I really trust my surgeon. I listen to everything he tells me. The one thing he tells me is that 150 lbs is perfect for me. Then if I want to set a new goal after that that I could. For him, he was happy with the 150. I started at 227lbs. I am now a size 4/27 in jeans. It's a great feeling. I started to gain the weight back a little because I started to get lazy with the exercising. This all happened this past year. So I started exercising again and hopefully I can get back to where I was before at 153. I put on 30 lbs this winter. I eat right. No carbs. Plenty of protein and water. But if you don't exercise it just comes right back to you. So I am back on the exercising and I can't get lazy. I have neuropathy in my legs due to a spine injury. But I can't let that get in the way. My advice to you is do whatever makes you happy. You look amazing.
  14. That's amazing news. Congratulations to you. You look amazing
  15. Yes. I started at a size 15 in jeans. I am now a size 4. I got real emotional in the fitting room. I stood there for about 20 minutes saying I can't believe that I am the size I was when I was in high school. It's a great feeling.
  16. I have the same exact meal plan every day. Awesome!
  17. Walking helps. Sip slowly and avoid ice cold drinks
  18. Hi. I had my surgery at ORMC by dr Seth Judd. August 17 2015. I got close to my goal weight of 150. I was 153. But I haven't been working out daily and put on 30 pounds. I still eat the right foods but because I have not exercised enough I am slowly creeping up. I need to get back on the losing train. It's difficult to exercise daily. I have to get back into it. I hope things are going fine for you.
  19. All I can say that you should definitely go through with it. You have done everything you needed to do and now your ready. You will feel so relieved once it's done. Your health will improve and you will get so many compliments. I went from a size 15 in juniors jeans to a size 5 in three months. I can't tell you the feeling I had when I was in the fitting room that first time trying to find what size I fit into. It was a very emotional moment. I have not worn a size 5 since high school. I'm now 46 years old. I avoided diabetes and no longer take blood pressure medicine. I get so many compliments from so many people. People I haven't seen in a few months and didn't even recognize me. I waved hello to them and they didn't realize it was me. I have worked hard. Exercise twice a day. A brisk walk mostly. You can do this and you will be so very happy that you did it. And your surgery sister will see that you did it and she will try again. Let me know how it turns out. Good luck to you.
  20. Can you give me some suggestions? I really would appreciate it. Thanks
  21. I have a protein shake for breakfast Greek yogurt for lunch 3 oz meat with salad for dinner. That's my food for the day
  22. I gained 20 pounds because I was ill for a few weeks and now I'm recuperating. Feeling better today. I get neuropathy in my legs and arms. Due to me not being able to exercise with my daily walks, I have gained the weight. I eat the right foods. Just no exercise. I see why my surgeon told me that I must exercise at least 44 minutes a day. If I don't exercise than I start to gain there weight back. So today I'm back on the treadmill if it's raining outside. Or just go out for my morning and afternoon walks. I need to get those extra pounds off. So good luck. Just get back into exercising.
  23. I was nervous to the morning of my surgery. I had my family there for support. I was being prepped for surgery and almost walked out of the hospital to leave. Then I got strong and said to myself that I have worked so hard for this moment. I will never forget what I went through getting to that point. Be strong. Try to have family there with you. You can do this so that you have a better tomorrow. My health is very important to me. Diabetes scares me. So I decided to just go through with it and I told my doc to be sure to take good care of me. He kept his promise and had a nurse by my side even when I woke up after the surgery. I started walking right away when they put me in a room. That stopped the nausea and made me strong. I was discharged the next day. As soon as I got home I went out walking. I now walk six miles a day. Three after breakfast and three after lunch. If the weather is bad then I use the treadmill that I got. Please be strong and I know you can do this. Best of luck to you.
  24. Hi. What worked for me was walking. Walking too my nausea away.
