Hi guys! My name is Holly and I got my band in may 2008. I am doing ok. I have lost 100 pounds but still have another 100 to loose. I started at 357 or something and im down to 257. I am having a hard time loosing now though but the entire time i have had the band I have not worked out. I'm guessing by looking at you guys on here that you work out and that if I did it would probably make a HUGE difference... Anyways i think most of you weren't as heavy as me when u started out. But just wanted to get some advice... Thanks :wink:

Hi guys! I got my 3rd fill or 4th... can't remember. I was gaining a couple pounds and now i am at 100 pounds loss. Kindof stuck but i don't work out so I think that is something I need to incorporate to loose more. But i'm doing good and feel great! Anyone ever heard of Menstrual Cramps getting worse after a major weight loss?? I never had bad cramps but GEEZ they are badddd now for sure! Just wondering if anyone ever heard that from anyone?

Hi just wanted to let you know you WILL most likely be able to eat nuggets. U eat McDonalds nuggets all the time. Eating SLOW is the key. I have been throwing up alot cause i feel so sick after eating like 2 bites of food and thats cause i eat to fast and i dont chew enough and those 2 things will make it sooo much easier if u get them down. :smile2:

Hey guys... im not sure if i know many of you but i was on here a couple months ago... through my surgery and stuff. I moved to NYC. So im not in Springfield anymore. Alot of life changes which i find happens when you better yourself... I left my fiance of 6 yrs and have a new boyfriend im living with in NY. He is amazing and honestly.. I never knew I could be loved the way he loves me. It's amazing!!! Anyways for those of you i don't know... Hi im Holly. I had the surgery on May 9th, 2008. The BEST decision I could have made. It has only been 6 months and I have lost 90 pounds! And i DONT work out! Its been awesome. I have a lot more to loose but im on my way and it is comin off FAST... YAY!! :smile2:

Hi Everyone! I know its been a REALLY long time since I have posted on here. I am doing great. I am not eating very healthy... still eating pizza and sweets (sometimes) but I have lost 52 pounds since my surgery on May 9th, 2008. Getting the Lap Band was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have REALLY had to learn to eat slow and take small bites. There have been quite a few times I have thrown up and got the thick Fluid in my mouth (im sure some of you know what I mean) its gross and I hate it. So I have had to learn my lesson (a couple times). I am going to start lifting weights cause I have some skin under my arms that totally grosses me out but I am loosing and feeling great and happy! I had my second fill at the beginning of August and will have another one in a month or so. Take care everyone and stay strong! If your out there reading this and thinking of having the Lap Band done, there is not anything I would recommend more. It has changed my life allready and I know theres more to come! GREAT! I feel so much better just losing 32 pounds... I have a way to go but its a start :wink_smile:

Just wanted to drop a quick note. I had my surgery on May 9th, and have lost 32 pounds so far!!! I am SOOOOO excited. Getting the Lap Band was the best decision I have ever made. Hope you all have a great weekend! ~Holly~

Does anyone ever just feel sick to their stomache constantly? I do feel restriction now... I just didn't the day of the first fill. Today is the thrid day and I do feel restriction, although my stomache is growling all the time and I feel nausceas all the time. Like I'm hungry but eating doesn't make me feel good.... I'm confused. I don't think that the band is to full ... I just don't know. ~Holly~:redface:

I had my first fill on the 19th (yesterday). It was weird. Although I don't really feel any additional restriction yet. I feel the same as before I had the fill....? Anyways I might have to have a couple more until I REALLY start feeling the restriction good. Later! ~Holly~

Hi everyone. I just wanted to post on here... its been a little while. I have lost a total of 25 pounds since my surgery (5-9-08). My first fill is June 19th, 2008. I am kindof nervouse and excited at the same time. Anyways need to get some vitamins... Hope your all doing well! See yah! ~Holly~
