I am due to have my repair and sleeve done on July 10th... My hernia never really cause discomfort until a few weeks ago. I am now noticing that when I eat or drink even water I have discomfort and burning sensation. Have anyone else experienced anything like this or similar? I'm due to go meet with the surgeon on the 25th of June. I will be definitely mentioning this issue I'm having. I will also like to know your input out of curiosity.

I am 41 and I also have my surgery in July on the 10th of my birthday month. No cake for me! This is an early gift to myself. I am 5'7 242.5 lbs. My birthday is the 24th

I am scheduled for July 10th! I am so excited! I have already started taking away sugar and carbs out my daily diet. Trying to get my mind right for my journey.

I am also having a hyena hernia repair if I spelled that right lol with my sleeve. Has anyone else went through that procedure with the sleeve? What should I expect?

I have also change my eating habits. I practice waiting 30 minutes after a meal to drink anything and small bites .

Lol... Yes I live in Atlanta. Dr Tuggle from Peachtree Bariatrics will be my surgeon. Good luck with everything because I was at the point where I didn't think I would get approved but God has a different plan for me. Please stay in contact and keep me updated on your progress. My date has been set for July 10th. This will be a birthday present to myself. A new start to my new life. My follow up is also scheduled the day before my birthday. I am very excited because this is something I want it for the past 3 years. Any advice and suggestions for this process is always welcome!
