What state do you live in?

Before my surgery... I just want to ride the horse-without being self concious- haha I just want to be able to go to the grocery store and not have to turn sideways to get through the cart barrier bars, I just want my husband to look at me with those heart melting eyes as if we just met, I just want to go to Great America and ride the rides without embarrasment as before, I just want to get on an airplane and be able to sit comfortably without occuping 2 seats, I just want to be able to sit in a chair without checking out the chair first, I just want to be able to wear cute clothes to look my age, I just want to conceive another beautiful baby, 105 pds lighter---- I have turned my want to wanted!!:clap2:

I had my surgery on 09-16-06. Pre-335- Now-225 :clap2: I had my surgery at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Illinois by doctor Joyce.. but lost my insurance so am now seeing Dr.Lutfi at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. Has anyone been seen by Dr. Lutfi- if so, how is he??? Funny you say that. I was 335 post and am now 225. My husband has always been 177- now he is 235! I wear his clothes and he just laughs.....But loovvess it!

Please, take a deep breath and relax. I do not belive it is the band, I believe it is the doctor!! Look around for a second opinion. The most expensive part is already done... If your doctor can not find time to fit you in, that speaks for itself.... Get a second oppinion. I had it done, but I started loosing after my third adjustment- I felt just like you. 3 fills later- 105 lbs lighter.

I do not have direct experience with BC/BS but 3 of my friends do. BC/BS of Il had no problem covering this surgery. GOOD Luck!
