  6. I had those problems too and all are mostly resolved! I had gastric sleeve surgery on the 21st of May. Am down 25 lbs and no problems from the surgery! I feel great! 90 lbs to go!
  7. I was fine for 3 weeks after surgery. Had to seek a little relief myself! Lol. My husband goes for walks with me. Still need to get my energy back. Anesthesia whooped me! Almost 4 weeks out and down, and still going down!! Today is my first day back to work.
  8. Step by step, small steps. I saw Dr. today and I have lost 18 lbs since surgery and 25 total lbs. lost. Small steps,
  9. @@HopeandAgony listen to laguerr13 it is slow and steady after surgery. Discomfort from the gas, hospital. The gas took time to get out! Small steps, bites and sips! Dont rush it either of you. I am 42, 5'7. Everyone in my family on both sides heavy. My moM is 5'4 and 315. Aunts on other side heavy too. Pre surgery diet is a must follow. I want to chug ice cold water. Small swigs are sufficing for now. Wish I could hit the gym. Busy mom and wife, working ( back on Thursday ) I barely have time for myself.

  11. Thanks @@VSGAnn2014 is nice to have someone to chat with who understands. I wish I had gotten out of bed more. The anesthesia makes me sick. Took me a week to stop feeling so bad. I am glad I did it and am very pleased with my results so far!!!

  16. I still have the thirst! I am glad you are doing so well! The gas took 2 weeks to finally go! I carry drinks all the time. I was thirsty before, now since surgery more than ever! I stuck a jug of diet green tea in freezer to get it super cold! Then it was perfect and I drank 16 oz. through the next hour! Take your time!!!!
  17. 231.8. Retaining water. Dr. Told me take some over counter and see. @@laguerr13 hope you are okay! Water retention may be why I have been tired.
  18. Small milestones, exactly. I am up this evening. Light cleaning and dinner. Sore, being careful as to my movements. How wonderful and proud you should be! I will keep you in my prayers on Wed. The worst part is the first 2-3 weeks after surgery. The soreness. Take your time!

  20. 232.4 this morning. Been taking it easy the last few days as I pulled a muscle on my left side. It started spasms where the sutures and glue and painful. I may go see Dr. tomorrow if it is still bothering me. Laying down stops the spasms. @@laguerr13 how are you doing?
  21. @@laguerr13 that is great! I weigh myself again Thursday morning. No naps for the first time since surgery. I am running errands and doing light housework. Hubby and kids keep me going.
  22. No hunger at all today. Drank my protein. I finally had 3 oz. Of tomato soup. Will have a bit more later.
  23. Keep getting at least 60 g of protein a day. You will feel sluggish as your body is not getting what it used to. I have to nap everyday since surgery. Keep going!!!
