  4. You guys!! I am on the plane on the way to AZ. NO SEATBELT EXTENDER! I fit with room to spare! (Those of you who watch my videos know what a huge deal that is to me)
  5. Two fun things 1. I made my top ten things I will not miss about being fat and have already overcome two of them! 2. Also, I ran my first mile. And I cried.
  6. My stall finally ended. I think one of the good things that happened is it made me focus more on how I felt and less on the number on the scale.
  7. My next trip is booked for July. I am still a little nervous but this time I go knowing I am doing everything I can do to be the best me. Not even a seat belt extender can steal that joy
  8. Oh I hope you do! Go every ride! Silence that inner voice that says you have to be a sideline watcher and never an active participant I am excited for you and cheering you along!
  9. You guys!! I had a moment today. I think you call them nonscale victories
  10. Holy buckets I love that!! I did not notice!!
  11. Thank you all for the encouragement.. I am rooting for you
  12. I am four weeks out. I made my husband hide my scale because it didnt move in four days and I freaked out. I googled and it seems lots of people talk about a three week stall. Did any else experience this? I am going to the gym 5 times a week and trying to get all my protien in. I am just not sure what to do?

  17. Skylia - What is Mixx Fit? laguerr13 - I am excited for you. Let us know how it goes! Shamroxx - I actually hid my scale this week because I was turning into a crazy person weighing myself all the time. I want want to keep reminding myself that to be holistically healthy is my goal. My starting weight at the end of February was 346. My weight on the day of surgery on May 11th was 316. My weight 4 days ago (3.5 weeks after surgery) was 294. That is 52 pounds lost since February and 22 pounds in 24 days.
  18. Thank you guys so much for the encouragement! Its awesome to walk this journey alongside you!
  19. Back at the gym. Movie it to lose it.
  20. My doctor prescribed DOK plus to loosen stools after surgery and said to take as needed I am still on the pureed stage and not really going much. Is that normal? How long did you take the medicine?
  21. Can I eat curry or buffalo sauce in purred diet phase? I saw a recipe for low fat pureed buffalo chicken and another for pureed curry sweet potatoes that looked good. Right now I dislike anything sweet and love things that are savory Any thoughts?
  22. How long after surgery did you have sex? Any positions to try or avoid as I heal? I am only two weeks out
