  1. June 2nd here. Down 30 lbs since surgery day. Haven't tried lettuce type food yet..too scared. I love baked chicken thighs in marinara sauce. As long as I chew a ton and eat slow I seem to be o.k. Haven't gotten nauseous or thrown up at all.Im starting a gym on Sunday and do dumb bells and fitbit. I hate eating out, I feel like the odd person. So excited for dinner today..we are having a bbq, marinated chicken yumminess!
  2. I eat pure orotein.Better flavor to me and much much cheaper.
  3. Miso soup, just ate the broth.
  4. I have had pain in my upper abdomen under and below my ribs on the left side. Sometimes it is sharp, most of the time it feels tight. My Doctor said it's an internal stitch pulling and will go away. It is bugging me and makes it hard to exercise because of the feeling. Anyone else have this?
  5. I feel the exact same way.Surgery June 2nd.I feel better reading this. I wanted to cry.
  6. The wondering hit me a little after a week.I was fine and good to go until then.Its getting better..I read our hormones are going wonky. Surgery was 6/2/2015
  7. One more day of skim milk diet,, Clear liquids on Monday.. then.. dah dah dum...... The day i've waited for!
  8. All I can have is 20 ounces of skim milk for breakdast,lunch,dinner and before bed snack. All the no sugar no calorie non carbonated drinks I want. Ugh!!!
  9. I have a BMI of 37. 5'1" tall. Many people say..you dont look heavy enough for that drastic of a move.. Um..yes I am that big and tired of it

  13. I see my Surgeon tomorrow for the final time before surgery on Tuesday. I've been on the 2 week liquid diet for 10 days now, and am feeling amazingly good. I have to meet with the anesthesiologist on Friday, then its on to S day. I'm terrified,anxious and unbelieving it actually got approved by insurance! I hope I keep hydrated afterwards, thats a big concern, one thing I DO NOT want is another I.V. Good luck and healing prayers for no complications, quick recovery, and lots of pounds gone forever to all my June Sleever Family!

  18. Hi..I am scheduled for June 2nd. I am nervous because I do have anxiety. I'm afraid it will get bad after and the hormones are going crazy. I see a therapist already,and am hoping I don't have horrible problems after.
  19. Hi! I'm Debi, scheduled for surgery June 2nd. Excited and nervous. Well...alot nervous..I.V 's terrify me..not just the needle but the whole process! I have vasel vagal syncope. .the surgeon said I can't have anything to relax me before the IV Cause it can make BP drop. Any suggestions? I've been thinking about WLS for 13 years..HW 220..5'1".SW 197. I finally got serious this January after a friend had Gbp. I didn't want everything moved around and less side effects. Good to meet you all????
