Hi, I'm new here. I'm from Sweden and had my gastric sleeve done 8 days ago. My BMI was 31 (In private clinics in Europe you can have surgery with a BMI of 30.) I have 50 pounds to lose, possibly 60 if I want to be where I was 8 years ago. I gained weight very rapidly in the last 4 years due to cancer followed by cortisone and being bedridden more or less for 3 years from being sick (and also due to depression.) I've lost 12 pounds in 8 days, so I'm pleased with that. My issue is that I feel so extremely weak all the time, I barely make it out of bed, because I'm so dizzy etc. I'm getting my water and protein in (65 grams a day right now, which is good considering I'm only eating 420-480 calories.) I wonder how everyone else seem to be so active already. Sure, I read that people are tired and so forth, but nothing like how I'm feeling. Hopefully my body will adjust since I have active children and right now I can't do anything with them. Nice to have found this forum anyhow! Sara
