So Hungry!
I had the same issue and it ended up being acid. Even though I took my zantac twice a day. I found when I really felt hungry I would eat a popsicle and drink Water at the same time. Made me feel fuller. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Craving chips and salsa/avocado
Oh that looks good. Do you think parchment paper would work? Also how long do you cook them or just watch them melt a bit and get crispy? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Craving chips and salsa/avocado
Ok so I am 4 weeks post op and I have this ridiclious craving for chips and salsa or avocado slices. I know I'm not allowed chips so I need suggestions as to what else to dip or how I can satisfy that craving. I'm on soft foods. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Nuvaring?
I had no issues with nuvaring before surgery but had to stop it 1 month before and for 6 weeks after surgery to prevent blood clots. I start it again in 2 weeks. My doctor said as long as I didn't have any issues before I shouldn't have any issues now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Pureed Stage
Be careful with puree veggies because they don't have much Protein but will fill up your small stomach quickly. I eat my meat or Beans first and maybe have a tiny bite of the veggies at the end. If I puree together don't add much veggie to the meat mixture. Will be very filling quickly. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Any Pittsburgh Pa Sleeve people out there?!?
Well that is no good about your thyroid but at least you're getting it taken care of now. And it's kind of good you get the stress test in bed. I had one on treadmill before and thought I was going to die. But that's great you've lost 4 pounds so far! Keep up the great work. Having all those tests and things to do help the time go by Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Drinking more helps slightly but not for long. I've lost at least 20 pounds so far. I'm off work for another 2 weeks, possibly 4 because of the labor intensive job. Have to wait and see what the dr says tomorrow. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I need food! 7 days post op
Depends what kind of soup. I just take chunky soup and put it in my strainer I would use for noodles and use the broth or sauce. I don't mix in any of the veggies or noodles or rice. They can swell up in your belly. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I need food! 7 days post op
I am 8 days post op and am going through the same thing. Only thing I have found that is remotely helpful is buying regular soup and straining everything out of it. Beef pot roast and fajita chicken are my favorites. It's really hard and I've had some breakdowns but gotta just keep on pushing. I bought some sugar free hard candies to chew. Still have 6 more days of clears but I've found cooking things I can have next and freezing them is helping. Keeps me looking towards the next step. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

So hungry!
Yes. I seem to be healing ahead of the normal trend and I know I'm ready to advance. Working in the medical field I'm terrified to advance on my own then have a problem. Only problem is my surgeon did surgeries the week of mine and then went on vacation this week so my appointment is not til end of next week. It's torture. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I loved her and the team and the hospital. I had a bit of delay the day of surgery because of a previous case but everyone was nice about it. The nurses are nice and helpful as well. Only had an issue with 1 in the 3 days and 2 nights I was there so that's not too bad. I go back for a followup next week. Everyone in their practice is great! Why am I hungry?!?!
Thank you everyone. I'm on the clear part still and it's been a struggle. Part of it is my hormones too. I have to be off my birth control for 2 month (1 before and 1 after surgery) and with this whole thing I've been an emotional mess. My stomach growls and makes noise but I'm still learning what it wants. Kinda like a baby. I just want to be able to get to full liquids So I can have some soup and feel like I'm actually consuming something. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I am tender on one incision because they put it right on a roll where my pants usually sit and so it rubs and gets irritated. Overall really only tender at night or I'd I've sat too long and go to stand up. Not weak unless I over do it. The first day I was in the hospital was rough but mainly just muscles sore. The upper gi to make sure there is no leak was rough but quick. Then you can relax. Second day was much better but sore. My surgery was Thursday and went home Saturday afternoon. Hardest part for me was getting comfy at night because I usually sleep on my side or belly. You find what works for you. It's honestly not too bad. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk Yes I'm living in yoga and sweatpants right now. It's not too bad. I put a bandage over it to give it break so hopefully that helps.
