Hi everyone!!! Day 1-4 has not been the greatest for me but I'm feeling much better today.... Been able to sip water,protein shakes, and tea.... I find that sipping ginger and peppermint tea has been helping my horrific gas pain situation tremendously along with walking of course... I'm on Tylenol with codeine for pain every 4 hours for pain and it works well...so glad to hear everyone is ok post op!!!

Hey 24th ERS!!! The count to tomorrow is on!!!! I'm checking in for 10:30am got bumped to 2nd my surgeon has an early emergency surgery..I wish you all the best of luck with speedy recovers!!!

I'm so sorry your dr. Made u feel this way!!!! Gaining 10lbs from April to June isn't horrible!!!don't beat up yourself about it... You are Human and things happen... Besides this time next week you'll be embarking on the new you so try to focus on that... Try your very best not to let anything or anyone bring you down!!! I'm sending positive vibes your way!!!! I'm looking forward to being more active with my kids: buying regular sized clothes: wearing a bathing suit and not shorts and a tee shirt: not being out of breath: shedding 2 chins keeping 1: smaller shoes size: Being healthy overall...

We have to remember that we are here to uplift each other not tear each other down.... I personally had to have one a long time ago because it just wasn't the right time... And unless you've walked in my shoes or anyone else whose been in this situation definitely keep your negative comments to yourselves!!!!THAT MAKES ME SICK!!!! How about that!!!! Unfortunate some of us weren't born with silver spoons in our mouths... Or have had family, financial, emotional support in decisions that had to be made...@jaterika:: talk it over with your significant other and listen to that special voice from within... Make a sound decision based on what u think is best!!!! Good luck to u!!! and there are some beautiful people here who are your bariatric family and will support u in whatever u decide...I'm one of them...

You can!!!! It is absolutely normal to feel nervous!!! when u start to noticed how awesome u feel, when u realize have to go shopping for a new wardrobe and just how much more healthier you are overall u will realize that it was all worth it....I'm praying that u have a safe and speedy recovery Good luck!!!!

I have premier chocolate protein shake, water, mio, Sugar free jello, crystal light etc....everyone chime in!!!! any suggestions on what to buy ??? Or what u will be using????
