  3. Im June 1st, Im down about 35 lbs. I was worried about my one month post op that I hadnt lost enough. The nurse said she was happy with my weight loss so far. I was doing fairly well with walking but I have been slacking due to lack of energy. However, I work part time as a waitress in addition to a desk job, so at least I know Im getting my exercise there. Ive been eating alot of eggs, cheese, lean ham and turkey lunch meat. Nuts (which I know Im probally not suppose to), tuna, cooked shrimp (like shrimp cocktail type) and grilled chicken. I am also having a hard time with not drinking and eating. Im happy so far. My only complaint is that I haven shrunk at all size wise in bottoms but tops I defiantly have.
  4. My Surgery is monday I appreciate the response
  5. Im sure the feeling will pass, The first few days was hard, now its a breeze. I shocked myself working my parttime job last weekend as a waitress being around all the food and I wasnt tempted to graze. I guess if I can make it through that the wine feelign will pass, I just wanted some advise from others who might be in my situation. Thanks
  6. Thanks for starting this topic and for all the replies! It was super helpful
  7. PLEASE Dont yell at me! Ive been on clear liquids 2 weeks tomorrow. I havent cheated except on day 1 I ate some cheese. I really would like a glass of wine tonight or tomorrow. I know it will be a long time before I can have one again and I was just looking for some advice. I just want options from other sleevers. Ive lost 15 lbs pre op! Im sure the feeling will pass I would rather just have it now then trying to worry about a craving later. Thanks in advance

  13. Hi, My Surgery is scheduled for June 1st, I have started my preop liquid diet today. All clear liquids, and 3 protein shakes a day. I had jello and a shake this morning, A shakeology shake for lunch and 2 crackers . Im not suppose to have anything but broth, jello popsicles and shakes.Water obiviously. This is going to be tough, I work 2 jobs the 2nd being a waitressing job..I pretty much told them I cant work until after my surgery. The other job I work is not food related so I feel confident with that one. I feel kinda bad about eating the 2 crackers but I was really hungry. HELP!
