  1. I've had the best doctor and his team of nurses. I was wanting to get them something but I'm not sure what to do. I'd say buy them lunch, take them muffins or something like that but I'm pretty sure they're all bariatric patients themselves. What do you suggest?
  2. I'm June 3rd in Memphis! Can't wait! I've lost 14 lbs during my preop diet.
  3. I was the same way! I started mine on wednesday. Thankfully I haven't had any headaches and it's been fairly smooth. I lost 8 lbs the first day! Drink LOTS of water (my Dr allows sugar free crystal lite) and that will help keep you full. The hardest part for me is avoiding situations where I can eat out or be around people eating junk. Good luck!
  4. I have a 15 lb restriction. Just makes me worry about how to get the baby in and out of the tub, bending over into the crib, on and out of the car. Hopefully by week 2 I'll be strong enough to manage.
  5. I'm getting sleeved June 3rd and have a 6 month old baby and my husband is a farmer so works late nights. More than the procedure I'm so worried about the two weeks post op that I won't be able to carry my son! Was it really a full 2 weeks that you felt sore? How long were you off work? I'm wondering how quickly I'll be able to get back to taking care of my baby!

  9. I'm having my sleeve done June 3rd and I CAN'T wait. I've seen my psychiatrist and nutritionist and will start my liquid diet on Wednesday! Scared but very excited.
