Nine years ago April 26, 2006, My husband Bill and I made a life changing choice to have bariatric (weight loss) surgery RNY. It was a decision that I believe saved our lives and gave us more time together. My journey began at close to 300lbs. My lowest weight was 135 lbs. I am currently working on a healthy food plan to get back on track. The journey is not an easy one. Some uninformed people claim it's an easy way out...It isn't. It's a lifestyle change but it has saved so many lives. I thank God every day for giving me this second chance and I'm blessed to know so many sweet friends that took this same journey with me.
