  1. My surgery was on 4/27. Went for my 2 wk post op visit today and lost 14 lbs since surgery. But I am not able to get in the required daily amount of protein yet. I am doing well with liquids~70oz, walking ~5000 steps, but the protein is a problem. hopefully I will lose more once I start getting the required protein.
  2. I think you are doing way better than I did. I had surgery on 4/27, released 4/29 but I was on pain meds and needed help getting off the couch until 5/2. Gas pains disappeared by day 6. I still cant sleep on my sides though.
  3. OMG! you lost 23lbs in less than 2 weeks! You are doing awesome! I hope I get those kind of results too...
  4. Stayce5, I am 7 days post op and it is still impossible for me to drink 2 ounces every 15 minutes, my belly hurts if i drink 2 ounces at a time and I have to take a break for about 30-40 mins. I try to do about one ounce every 15-20 mins (Not regularly) I am at present doing 35-40 ounces a day. I spoke to my bariatric centre about this and they told me that although it is less, it is not too bad and I have to slowly increase it as much as I can tolerate. So dont worry about failing, you will get there.
