Trying not to call the insurance company everyday to check on the status of my appeal. So far it's in Review by the Medical Team....

My dr office missed the phone call for the peer to peer review last Friday. So it's rescheduled for 9/25... I've been in contact with HR they said if they deny me again to contact them. My company is self funded so they will most likely approve my surgery

My dr missed my peer to peer as well yesterday. Now I have to weight until next Friday 9/25

I have United Healthcare... My dr is suppose to do a peer to peer with the insurance company

Ok so my insurance denied me because my BMI was only over 40 for 3/5 years! How can I appeal this??? My plan states that it must be over 40 for 5 years in a row.

My Drs office called me and said insurance denied me because I don't have 2010 weight history. But when I called my insurance company they told me that it's still pending and don't know how my Drs office came up with it being denied.

I called to make sure the dr office submitted my papers today for approval! Trying so hard not to be anxious. ????

I too completed my NUT class the same day as you. They are submitting my paperwork for surgery on Monday! Can't wait!!

If all goes well I'll be a November sleevers what's your estimated wait time They told me 15 days... She had a date of 9/19/15 for surgery but I had a cruise planned already so I asked for the earliest available date in October

Do your extra weight cause extreme pain in your legs ankles and feet? At the end of the day I'm in soooo much pain I have to beg my husband to massage my swollen ankles and feet. We both can't wait for the surgery.

How long did it take for UHC to approve your surgery??

MY UHC required a 5 year weight history

Has anyone's sex life improved after surgery? Is it better because your smaller??
