  4. hi you have to be intubated because the dr will use muscle relaxent so that your stomach doesnt contract wilst being operated on. Lisa

  6. hi all i am a paediatric nurse from the uk, i work in theatres or the O R as you would say and i love it. i was banded on 27th nov 2007 and have lost 2 n half stone up to now. Lisax

  12. hi i am a chocoholic and to be totally truthful i wish every day that i had saved up longer and got a bypass. i was banded in nov 07 and have lost 2st in total yer sounds gr8 but i havent lost any thing since jan weight up and down as i have been eating choc and crap constantly someting in replace of a meal some times on top of meals. right now i totally feel like i have hit the self distruct button so early on in my weight loss journey.   19. milisha please double check with your co ordinator about the free fill. when i went to get mine they said i wasnt due one and it was a mistake. a lady i was with kicked up a fuss about it and because we had our discharge letter with us we got a fill in clinic. this was only due to the fact that we all made such a fuss. good luck Lisa x

  24. hi i Had my band 2 weeks ago with WGA. i done it with them because of the money and also i have a 1 yr old baby so like you going to belgum etc would be to hard. you actually have your op with "The Hospital Group" a company with alot of bad press!!! i found the whole process very rushed and not very personal but then again i wouldnt of had the money to do it any other way.
