What liquids can I bring?
Thank you. I'm having surgery w dr. Ortiz THIS Wednesday! Lol My need for protein is the day before. We travel tomorrow for 8 hours then we are at the hotel for the day. Buying it in San Diego airport is a good idea.

Isopure is a brand of protein drink. They offer Ready-To-Drink (RTD) protein drinks that are considered to be 'clear' liquids due to their texture and consistency. They also offer protein powder that is flavored or unflavored that you can add to milk or milk substitutes to create a protein drink. I haven't seen any other brand with as much protein in a serving. I bought the apple flavor (I can't remember the actual name of the flavor) green clear RTD and it has 40 grams of protein in one bottle. Ty- I'll have to look into that. It's overwhelming how much there is to learn and remember!

I'm going to Mexico too. Nov 4th for me. Dr. Ariel Ortiz. What is isopure? I see it all around Instagram but have no clue what it truly is. Coming soon, everyone!! I'm down 9lbs so far. I have 14 more to go before surgery.

Congrats! I'm sure it'll help. It definitely won't hurt! I have a bad knee and I can't wait to get 100+ lbs off of it!

Be careful with bouillon cubes for the msg. That crap will bloat you up and you'll never understand what hit ya. I ordered a sample of the unjury chicken broth flavored protein and it was actually tasty. I have to find the type of lotions or oils people lather themselves with for skin hydration.

We will all be missing thanksgiving dinner. How are you guys coping with that? For me, Ive never been a big thanksgiving dinner fan so that day will be fine for me. I think it'll be smaller things like holiday parties w hors doeuvres that'll mess w my head a little lol

Asking the vets
Hi all- I'm pre-op(nov4) and I have a few questions for you vets out there... 1) what products have you found that have been saving graces that I must have? (For any stage) 2) do you do any sort of trick or regimen to keep the excess skin firm? 3) what has been the best way to stave off hair loss? 4) how did you explain this to your young children? I have a 6 yr old daughter who is an obsessive thinker. I know it's a lot but I didn't want to inundate you with different threads. Thanks so much for any insight!
