I also had surgery yesterday and I'm doing nothing but sleeping. Still waiting to get discharged. Please let me go home!!

I get to the hospital at 6 and surgery should begin at 8. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. We are only a few hours away!!!

Why did my clear liquid day have to fall on Father's Day? I had to send the husband and kids to dinner without me. (Besides, I can't leave the house thanks to magnesium citrate.) Only 12 hours to go!!!

I've been reading some other comments and it seems common to have reservations prior to surgery. It will all be over soon. I try to focus on how I will look and feel after surgery.

I start my pre-op diet on Monday, so I'm planning a fun weekend. I've been slowly making changes so it will be easier. I feel myself getting more and more nervous/anxious. How have you been?

I was also convinced that I wanted the sleeve until my initial consultation. I have a history of acid reflux so the sleeve would probably make my life miserable. I started trying to make little changed now so it won't be so hard later. I never thought it would be so hard not to eat and drink at the same time.

Great! Have you finished all of your appointments? I go back for my pre-op appointments next week.

Hi Tiana, My date is also June 22nd! I am super excited, nervous, and a little impatient. I joined this forum when I scheduled my first appointment and I have found it very helpful, but I haven't posted anything. No one knows about my surgery except my husband. I would love to be your buddy!
