  6. I'm 12 days out and met with my surgeon today. He said I can try soft foods phase now even though technically it's supposed to be Wednesday. I had a imitation crab stick today and a ham and cheese rollup and it was AMAZING. Tonight I am having fish. The Surgeon told me I can try soft stuff and see how it feels. Just eat slow and CHEW CHEW CHEW, lol. :-)
  7. Looks great! I had a deviled egg last night (actually like 3 of them over the course of 2 hours) and it was amazing. I am technically not on soft foods till Wednesday but Easter dinner with the family killed me haha. I made sure I pulverized the eggs by chewing the crap out of them. They were amazing :-) I feel guilty for eating it 3 days early but mentally it made the day a ton more enjoyable and I went easy and today I feel great. I gained a pound though so I guess that was my punishment lol.

  9. I never got nauseous once during the whole process until I had my first multivitamin from Nasco Ball. Not trying to again. I emailed my nurse and NUT and they said to buy supplements that match the values. I made the mistake and took citrical last night (big pills) and they felt like they got stuck. Needless to say I am breaking them in half for the future.
  10. I am at the end of week 2 and after losing close to 30 pounds, it's stalled for me too. I use the scale to motivate me, and using clothes and all of the other measurements don't do it for me like watching numbers fall. I am thinking of all of the reasons why this could happen, like possibly it has something to do with salt? I am getting very close, if not hitting my protein goals, and am eating under 800 cals. I also walk 3 miles (6k steps a day) It's beginning to get discouraging for sure. If others hit this stall maybe I am not alone?

  15. Hey Everyone, I am now 8 days post op and for some reason woke up today and am having some pain below my stomach below one of my incision sites. It's pretty intense. I took pain meds but it's still there. Do you guys know how long pain lasts typically?

  19. Hey all, I just hit my day 7 from surgery and I am feeling a bunch better. I had pastina last night (if your Italian you probably know more about what it is) and it went down well. Today I had Organic Garlic Hummus from Whole Foods and it was awesome too. I am just wondering, after reading a few posts and since I am on the creamy soup/oatmeal/cream of what stuff am I doing this right? I feel weird because other people are on liquids still. I know you guys will say "as long as your NUT says it's ok" but I still have some pain and I am definitely feeling full. Am I doing well here? I'm not hurting myself right? Lol. Here is the hummus I had so you can see consistency:

  29. My name is Mike. I am currently almost a week past my surgery. Surgery date: 3/25 I have a YouTube Vlog and have decided to actually be upfront with my viewers about what I have done and my process. It took me a year and a half to get to the point of scheduling my sleeve but I got it and am now just patiently waiting for stage 3 haha. I wasn't going to join this forum, but after reading and seeing how nice you all are, I figured why not! I am 32 years old, married, and a professional that travels and is always on the go. I did this because I want to have kids in the future and need to be at a healthy weight to chase them. I guess I just wanted to post on here to say Hi and I hope I can join in this and we can all each other together. Cheers to making the choice to do it. I miss food but love the feeling that I am never going to be heavier than I am today. Here is a link to my Vlog on YouTube. YouTube.com/BigMikeLittleWorld Check me out. I bring my viewers through my surgery day in my newest Vlog. Tomorrow I am posting an update. :-) Tty all soon! :-)
