My name is Gina and I am just in the beginning stage of having the gastric sleeve. I am doing all of the pre- op appointments and have met with my doctor. I am nervous but excitied now that I have made the decison to have weight loss surgery. I have always been opposed to weight loss surgery but have dedcided to take back my own life and have the gastric sleeve. I am in the medical field and have only seen the negative side of the weight loss surgeries and negative outcomes.
I have been over weight for the last 25 years and now I can admit I need more than just another diet or execise plan. It is a life changing event in more ways than one.
