I'm happy you've found a place with lots of support here! My family doesn't know. Well most of my family doesn't know. But I figured, it's about being healthy and feeling great about myself. As much as we love our family, we can't love them if we are dead or super sick. They will come around! I'm not required to do a pre-op but I will at least do a 3 day liquid diet prior to my surgery on the 16th.I'm 5ft. And 203 lbs. I'm not required to do a pre-op either but I was thinking of doing a whole 30 a week before so that I could detox from sugar and the liquid detox wouldn't be as bad.

I'm scared as well! ahh But I am excited to get this journey started. Good luck!

I am so excited that my insurance approved me and I'm set for June 11th. However I'm freaking out a little bit because now it's like HOLY CRAP it's REALLY HAPPENING! Any other June Sleevers around? Any words of encouragement or advice? xox Denisse

This is my firs post here! Hey you guys!! So I have my surgery scheduled for June 11 and I'm extremely nervous about the insurance approval part. I have qualcare insurance and I'll be having it done in NJ . My insurance has required me to do a sixth month nutritional visit thing. However in those six months my weight has fluctuated 5-6 lbs (gain and loss). The doctors office has told me that they are going to encounter issues with my insurance because of that. So I'm sort of freaking out because then all of this waiting and work would have been for nothing. M Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks guys Xo
