Hello:bounce: My name is Cindy. I live in erlanger ky.I am 47 years old married 26 years and have one son who is 24. I am scheduled for lap band Feb7th at Jewish Hospital with Dr. Fegelman. I have tried other weight loss products.... Weight Watchers was the most recent. It works for a while then I get cocky thingking I can do it on my own. Not true. I do real good then say oh one day wont hurt if I cheat. Then somehow just fall off the wagon all together and I gain the weight back. I have thought long and hard about the lap band and have decided to do it. I have struggled with my weight all my life. I know this is a life style change and I am ready to make that change.

Hello I am scheduled to have the surgery Feb 7th. I am going to Jewish Hopsital and Dr. Fegelman is doing the surgery. Has anyone been to Dr. Fegelman,and been to the support groups? Please share your thoughts.

Thank you all for you advice. I do appreciate very much. I plan on sitting my son down so we can talk about the procedure. I have struggled all my life with weight. Thanks again all. I will take advice.

I am scheduled Feb 7th to have lap band. My son is not real happy with my decision and I am not 100% confident my husband is ok with this. Now i am wondering if I should cancel my appt. Any advice?

Hello I am scheduled forthe lap band Feb 7th 2008. Starting to have doubts. My son wasnt real thrilled with this idea and I am not 100% confident my husband is ok with this. he says he is but i am not sure. My son was bothered by it. So now I am wandering if i should go through with it or just cancel. Anyone with advice?
